The main issue was the handling of our cot request. We had requested a cot when booking, but upon arriving at the hotel at 11:30pm after a long flight, there was no cot in the room. After calling reception, we waited quite some time for a staff member to arrive with a broken cot. Although he was polite and trying his best, more delays followed while a replacement was arranged. When I called reception again to ask if they could speed things up as we were exhausted, one staff member was rude and hung up on me before transferring me to a colleague who apologised. A replacement cot eventually arrived, but we were unable to get to sleep until around 1:00am. I would expect a cot requested during booking to be set up before arrival, especially for families travelling with a baby.
