Stayed there with a friend during our visit. The hotel is located by the Danube, close by trams and places to eat nearby, it’s very easy to go anywhere. The room was clean and comfortable. The toilet and the shower are separate which was unusual for my Italian friend. The only complaint we had was that the bottled water doesn’t get restocked. The tap water is drinkable but we prefer bottled water. The staff was really helpful when we had questions and let us leave our suitcases after check out.

Cleaning in the room is not the best and the feeling of "old" carpets and furniture is strong. Even though it was a "No Smoking" room, some of the pillows smell of cigarette!. Don't feel secured the toilet seat was properly cleaned: stains and odor were obvious. Maintenance should improve: both the sink and bathtub drainage were almost fully blocked accumulating water from washing hands and bathing. Very uncomfortable to adjust the water at the bath tub: very far an crystal wall cannot be moved to have better access to the opening valve. Value for money was not there.

The location and parliament view is an absolute beauty. Spacious corner suite. Although it is good to separate the toilet from the bathroom. It is unhygienic to skip a small basin after going to toilet. That is the only thing I would complain about regarding the hardware. When we are checking out, the staff asked me to pay for the stay of a so-called "my friend" whose name I don't even know. I asked for written permission from me, and even the other tourist who was also at the counter laughed at that and said he was also my friend and asked if I would also pay for him. Then a senior staff member came, checked the computer, and said it was a mistake that "someone had switched rooms". After that, the former staff asked me to pay for a lunch that I never had. I said I never went to the restaurant or used room service. At that moment, I sensed that it was a tourist trap and said I would call the police while I had a witness. Then the staff said she made a mistake and let us go.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept well each night. The breakfast had plenty of gluten-free options, which was important for my wife (who traveled with me on my business trip). The location close to Batthyany ter was perfect, due to the access to the metro. The front-desk staff was always extremely friendly, helpful, and patient with our requests, and assisted me with taxi reservations when I visited customers or returned to the airport. The only concerns we had were the air conditioning, which didn't cool the room very well, and on one day the cleaning staff didn't close the door all the way, so it was left unlocked. I discussed this with the front desk, and it didn't happen again (the doors don't slam shut, you had to pull them). We had to check out early on our last day (left at 3AM), and the staff provided a bag for my wife and I with a breakfast "to go," which had several food and drink options (and was far better than when I had to do the same with the Sofitel Chain Bridge, when I stayed there). Because I was staying here partly for business, partly for holiday with my wife, the hotel was able to split the bill to two charges. I will absolutely consider staying here again on my next visit.

The room had a weird smells ,like not cleaned regularly, everything old inside,it was extremely cold and reception didnt provide heat as it was not the season,besides that fact that it was freezing.Breakfast had OK choices nothing special for the prices,overall wouldnt book again

it is a nice hotel with a great location, but pretty limited. I found the room pretty dirty when arrived, i had issues using the sauna and few issues during Breakfast (no gluten-free bread, some dirtiness, etc)

The room was good and cleaning level too. I think that in a 4 stars hotel even the room service like the bar should be there like some beverage or snacks not forcing every time the guest to call or to go at the bar to buy something.

First night given a room with a smell like a dead rat (room 720), refused to move room even though rooms available. Did move room next day, on third day the cleaner tried to air out room and stank out the whole floor. Breakfast average at best. Dining in restaurant kids meal food was awful, desert was ok, drinks were ok. Housekeeping staff were nice, but missed areas of rooms and toilet not clean under seat.

The hotel is very outdated , rooms and corridor have musty odor the bathroom is pathetic the sink does not drain the shower would hardly have an water flow and the breakfast staff are very rude and the food is very mediocre

I forgot my insulin pens at the hotel and one day later they could not find them so I had to cancel the transportation solution I arranged. You cannot just buy it from the pharmacy, so it was very crucial to get it back.
