Hotel focused on its processes and not its client experience

Stayed at the hotel for a wedding nearby. Our 2 Rooms are available at 2pm, impossible to arrange for an access to any room (20 minutes) at 1pm. We had to change in the toilets, hence frustrating other customers for squatting the toilets. A meeting room could have been arranged, or 1 room probably available already. We sat at table for lunch. We had 1h window for it. Waited and asked for being taken order. We got dismissed as other clients were there first (and still waiting too) Overheard conversation of staff not being concerned about another client seating outdoor asking a faster service. Next morning: breakfast was chaotic. Staff running around, certainly busy and coping. They were kind in helping but, I have rarely seen such agitation around. Overall, everyone seems to play its process but forgets the experience of the client. We are not highly demanding individuals. Only helping hand was when we asked for the room card at 1pm to avoid dealing with paper work at 2am after at weeding. I had to swear not using the room until official checking time (ie within the next 1,5h)…

Effectivement lors de votre arrivée vers 13h, les 2 chambres que vous aviez réservées n'était pas encore disponible. Comme convenu avec la réception ce jour-là, il vous a été donnée vos clé de chambre de manière anticipé afin de pouvoir accéder à votre chambre dès votre retour du mariage. Lors de votre prochain séjour, vous avez la possibilité de réserver l'option Earlycheck in pour être sûr d'accéder à votre chambre à partir de 10h (pour notre établissement). Concernant votre prise en charge sur la terrasse et pour le petite déjeuner, vos commentaires ont été remonté auprès de notre responsable Restaurant. Pour toute question sur le programme de Fidélité AL.L., n'hésitez pas à consulter le site ALL.ACCOR.COM (partie le club A.L.L) ou contacter le service clientèle AL.L. au téléphone. Problem with the breakfast after 8.00 - 8.30 am much less choice and often run out of certain foods if the hotel is fully booked + hard to find a table. Second time that this has happened

Storm blocked our check-in experience. No drinks offer to wait nor additional drink for my account

Had to wait for more than 1 hour and a half to be allocated a room booked more than a month before. Noisy air conditioning in the room, toilet paper + Shower gel empty. Had to fight again to be moved to another room the second night. No commercial gesture such as free breakfast, free drinks as we were told that the problems were linked to the hotel side, not the restaurant!! Finally we were allocated an upgraded room after arguing. Very good location but bad customer service and room maintenance.
