Dear Riccardo, We are sorry to read your review, but we would like to clarify a few important points. All reservations at our hotel must be guaranteed by a valid credit card. Guests are welcome to provide a prepaid card as well, provided it has sufficient funds for the pre-authorization to be successfully processed. If the pre-authorization fails because there are no funds available, then by definition the card no longer serves as a valid guarantee, as there is no actual financial security behind it. This requirement does not mean that you are required to pay with that same card upon arrival. Once at the hotel, you are free to settle your bill using any payment method accepted by the property, including cash where applicable. We are pleased that, as you mentioned, everything went well during your stay. However, the guarantee policy is applied consistently to all guests and is necessary to protect confirmed reservations.
