There was an insect that looked like a long-tailed silverfish in my room. Hopefully, my pre-cautions have been enough to not bring any home with me, as that would be very negative for the value of my home. Other than that, communicating with the staff in English was sometimes ineffective, and the carpet on the floor in my room had several large stains. Overall, not many positives, except for a kind and attentive waiter in the hotel restaurant.

Excellent stay from start to finish. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the location was perfect next to the metro station and the Riem Arcaden shopping mall, making transportation and shopping very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Parking was available, and the overall service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again on my next visit to Munich.

Check in was ok, I was forced to pay for the full stay upfront (I’m a business traveler with more than 900 nights in hotels in the last 10 years). When I asked to check out one day earlier I was told I’ll need to pay for it and I had to convince the staff to check - he didn’t want to and after some back and forth he called someone and immediately said no. I lost my hat in the room and mysteriously the staff didn’t find it (although I asked 4 hours after checkout) Overall, I don’t think I’ll come back to this hotel and probably will recommend my colleagues to go to other hotels as well

The room was functional but limited in appeal, especially for the cost (over EUR 650 per night). The included breakfast was average and certainly did not represent good value for money compared to the options available at the adjacent retail centre. The laundry service costs were excessively high and are certainly being used to significantly increase margins; for example, a pair of socks to be washed cost EUR 4.70!! Finally, the front-of-house (reception) staff were very hit-and-miss; some were genuinely helpful and friendly, whilst others were borderline rude and seemed annoyed that a guest would have any requests or questions.

Pleasant stay, although the “upgrade” was not really for me, the room is at the end of the building, with a view of constructions outside, a building across where I can’t really enjoy to open the curtains without being seen from outside and there is a giant pillar in the room. So, it’s not really that good because a huge pillar is always there that I kept bumping on whenever I walked to the bathroom. I did not ask to move because that’s not my style. All I ask on the future is do not say it’s an upgrade when the room is actually have issues about it. To the positives: Easy bus access to the airport. A small shopping mall few steps away with options on dining as well. Some parks and water features nearby that you can walk around. The Rituals handwash smells fresh. Towels are absorbent and bed is comfortable. Nespresso machine and a fridge is a plus. Thank you
