As someone who travels as much as I do, a good night’s sleep is essential in a hotel. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the bedding, together with the absence of either a blanket or a duvet, made for a very uncomfortable stay. The noise both inside and outside the hotel was also quite disruptive. Overall, I did not have a good experience, and this is particularly disappointing because the low quality of the bedding appears to be a recurring issue rather than an isolated one.

I asked for a reservation at the rooftop bar, and was told that it was not possible due to the rooftop being open to outside guests. I told the bar manager that I was actually staying at the hotel (like I usually do for my Barcelona business trips) but he told me to "just arrive early" if i wanted to secure a seat. So I just went elsewhere for dinner. Not a big issue but I have been at hotels where the staff goes above and beyond for their guests, and this wasn't it. The room was fine, and housekeeping was great.
