Rooms were comfortable if sparse, but the staff welcoming and knowledgeable. Despite being near the entrance and main parking lot, there was not a problem with noise at all. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, however. I recommend looking for something else locally.

Excellent location, ample parking, comfortable bed, very nice room, friendly staff and filling breakfast. I have stayed in many other hotels in Cherbourg but this has to be the best. I would definitely return.

Convenient for EV drivers because it’s next to a McDonalds which also has fast EV chargers, and close to the Auchan supermarket which has cheap Tesla superchargers. The car park is massive, free, and locked at night. The rooms are comfortable quiet and clean. The welcome was friendly. Would have liked some more pillows but at this price really look no further than this hotel.

Could not collect my All Accor points after payment was made. Service person made no effort to suppress their smile about it. Breakfast missed items daily. Colleague missed his electrical toothbrush a couple of days after which it returned to his room without any explanation.

A very pleasant and enjoyable stay, room very clean and well presented. Staff were very helpful and any request was promptly dealt with. The room would benefit with a kettle provided for tea and coffee making. The breakfast could be enhanced if you provided some hot food like eggs, sausages/ bacon and also fresh fruit. Dinner in the restaurant was very good, staff very helpful and a reasonable price , we had an enjoyable stay,

I stayed here as a stop off on my way to a week’s vacation in France. The hotel was basic but functional with a comfortable bed and all you needed for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good, again typical French style (but I was in France!) and plenty of choice and a decent quality too! All in all a perfect stay, my first time using this brand (Ibis Budget) but based on quality for value it’s excellent.
