breakfast was great, however there is a 'pillow menu' in the room and the receptionist said she can't get us any until at least 11pm, which isn't acceptable, especially that is was being requested by a 7yr old child. Also there was a leaflet about warm milk, which again seemed to be a problem for the staff.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and professional. The bathtubs definitely need to be remodeled, my fiance is only 5'1" and she almost fell several times getting out of the shower. It is incredibly slippery and easy to high for anyone short. The a/c never got the room cold enough for a comfortable sleep. There is no way to get any toiletries that you might have forgotten as there is no store for anything but drinks in the lobby. The restaurant didn't seem to ever be open.

Some personnel was very helpful and other incompetent, righteous and not willing to accept her mistake. Rooms did not have AC resulting in unbearable heat. The air system had a toxic smell and even though it cooled one room of the two we had booked, the smell was causing headaches.

Food is quite good; abit too salty. Staff on Sundays night is a catatrophe as the poor people have hardly been trained well.

Its the place where you can relax after a business day. The rooms are large and very quiet. The elvator has soothing sounds, and the frestaurant is open till late considering German times. In the summer you can have a nice walk around the property

In general the hotel is decent. Unfortunately there was lack of tool to prepare coffee and tea in the room as it was described in the offer as a room equipment. I reported this to reception immidiately upon arrival. Because it was late, they couldn't bring it immediately but they promised to fix it. I also received tea. Unfortunately the room was never restocked and they finally tried to charge me for a minibar item I never used. I really felt disappointed with Mercure brand.

Nice stay, needed to be at Messe Düsseldorf and had the car with me, so this was a good option. Are in the bar which was great - friendly staff. Good room, decent shower, nice to have a fridge.

Stayed here for 1 night only , mainly for the restaurant. Breakfast was amazing, so many options. Dinner was also very good. Nice to have vegetarian and vegan options available. There wasn’t a play area for kids but overall this is a very nice hotel to stay at.
