Horrifying

Very nice lady at the reception who unfortunately could not change the sitatuon anymore. the room was terrible due to the fact that it was a smoking room.

this stay I was given a room at the big street side, and street traffic woke me up at 05h AM

I was traveling with my son, to stay with my mother for christmas and New year ( husband working so not with us), this was return trip with son and roughly halfway from mother to country of residance, very helpful staff, different room each time but comfortable and replaxing after day in the car, nice breakfast buffet in the morning which son enjoyed, was worried about location for parking car but everything was fine, Overall a great experiance, thankyou Ibis Duisburg.

Nice hotel in centre of Duisburg with free parking facilities. Price-Quality is fine. Clean room with separated shower, WC and lavabo. TV, small desk and double bed. Matras a bit hard, but ok for 1 night. Breakfast available 7,5 euro.

I called ahead to make sure a late check in would be OK. They texted me my room code and we got everything taken care of without a problem. It's the ibis budget, it's not a penthouse. But the room and sheets where clean, everything worked as it's supposed to be

Good location, close to the centrum and also supermarket just besides the hotel. Clean and staff very friendly, helpful and have a good English

Quite satisfied with the stay. The room was nice, the reception was fine on arrival and the breakfast was basic but fine. The whole concept is perfect for single overnight stays.

Single room, one big bed even enough for 2 persons, and within upper level for one more kids. The price during exhibition is not as higher than the others. A supermarket is just next door.

First I could not get in at Hotel after 2PM as the door computer access terminal had a fault and had to wait until receptionist came at 2.20Pm to sort many people out ?? Second not lift at this hotel and had to clime to second floor and long walk? Third breakfast opening delayed ? The only good thing was the air conditioning unit worked as was very hot that day!

Clean hotel ideal for overnight stop, close to motorways.

My room appears to have been recently renovated. There is a grocery store conveniently located next door, and the main train station is about a 15-minute walk away. Note that there is no lift, so if you have a heavy suitcase and happen to be assigned a room on the third floor, you've lugging it up there yourself. Also, I got double-charged for my room - pre-payment had been collected at the time of booking, and then I was asked to pay again during my stay. (I forgot that I had already pre-paid - I travel a lot - and so I didn't question it until I double checked my credit card statement.). So be aware if they ask you to render payment - have you already prepaid?

Overall, it was good, clean, quiet. A minus: There was no elevator and I had to carry my luggage up two flights of stairs. There was also no complimentary toothpaste and I hadn't brought any.

Very simple but handy.

I was unpleasantly surprised to find out there was no lift in the hotel. As I was travelling with my Mum and she has difficulties with walking on the stairs. I did book hotel via Accor app and there was no information that in this particular hotel there is non.
