I always have a very positive experience at Novotel Karlsruhe City. The hotel is in a great location, I enjoy the fitness room, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. However, during my last couple of stays (I visit about once a month), I’ve noticed a few details that made my experience less pleasant than before. Here are some examples: Refreshments were not replaced (e.g., no bottle of sparkling water in the room). There was no hand towel, and even after I called reception and they confirmed they would bring one, it never arrived. The hand soap bottle was empty and was not refilled. These are small details, but they do affect the overall experience and keep me from giving a 10/10 rating.

I travel to Karlsruhe two or three times a year for work, and this hotel has been my home away from home for the past five years. The service is consistently excellent — from the friendly cleaning crew to the attentive hotel manager. The staff always make me feel welcome, and their professionalism and warmth are truly exceptional.
