They were not treated as platinum members at all. No room upgrade, no amenities, no welcome gift in the room, and no information was given about a welcome drink. It was the worst treatment they had ever received during an Accor stay. The location is good, but the room is too old.

All the facilities are very old, and some equipment in the bathroom is even broken. The body wash and hand soap weren't placed in the wall dispensers; the bottles were just left sitting on the sink. Overall, it doesn't feel up to standard for a hotel. However, the service staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a huge difference compared to other **Mercure** hotels I've stayed at. I just traveled from Paris to Germany, and the **Mercure** hotel in Paris was excellent—both the facilities and the staff were highly professional. It’s hard to believe these two hotels are supposed to be of the same star rating/level, considering how drastically different they are.
