I was taying in Room 402 in the hotel (Mercure Friesenstraße). The room's AC did not work. There was a broken glass on the table which was dangerous owing to which I hada cut in my finger. The bath tub's drain did not work properly. The house keeping was not done even after multiple requests. The breakfast service was definitely not the best. The taff treated other guests much better than they treated me and my spouse. I complained to their front desk, I was shooed away by the staff who said it is not their hotel, they don't own it and so I should not talk to them. I tried calling the front desk manager and the hotel director several times on their cell phone number, as suggested by their own staff to get some help, a solution and a fix, they were unreachable. I am an Accor Gold member. I stay across Accor properties in different countries, this is the worst experience I have had. I have recordings of the broken glass, the malfunctioning drain and the dirty room with me.

Some key words to describe my stay: Elevator out of service, noisy, cigarette smell everywhere: Corridor, rooms, even the employees are going out for a smoke and let the door open bringing the smell inside. Basic room, no amenities, 1 bottle of water for the whole stay...

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Wi-fi didn’t work at all. I told the front desk and they said they would look into it but nothing happened. The shower drain was partially plugged and the water took forever to drain out. The soap container in the shower was empty. One of the two elevators never worked so it took a long time waiting for an elevator.

One of the lifts was out of order so the wait was far too long. The room should have been gutted 5-10 years ago, especially the bathroom.
