always clean, always quiet; service staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Price always quite reasonable, tho varies by season. It is, as noted, no frills but everything works, including the WiFi. Location is about 10-15 minutes from mid-town by metro with a station about 3 blocks away. Breakfasts are extra and have no hot food (other than coffee/tea). Like the rest of the place the breakfast is no frills but well done.

Everything you’d expect from an Ibis Budget. Clean rooms & good breakfast all at a low price. Parking right beside hotel and a few minutes walk to the U- Bahn . Short journey to the city centre and worth considering rather than city centre.

Just like the two other ibis budgets I have stayed at, and that's no bad thing. No frills, cheap cost and extremely clean. Not somewhere to stay for a holiday but great for a couple of nights.Multi lingual staff on reception. 8 minutes walk from the railway station, slightly closer to the s bahn.

The ibis is after all a budget hotel - and we got what we paid for. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was cleaned everyday and we were given fresh towels. The location was great for us, only a short walk to the station, some shops and restaurants. The only downside was that they did not have a cot for my 6 month baby to sleep in. So we had to use a mattress on the floor.

I had 2 days and one night in hamburg and wanted to book something affordable as a single traveller. I know what I am getting when I booked the various ibis offerings and this was exactly what I wanted. Nice staff, vending machines and modern, comfortable room. I knew the location wasnt right in the centre but it was only about 10 mins by metro and then a 5 min walk. I bought a 2 day hamburg pass which gave me discounts for boat cruises, site-seeing bus, museums and included all transport for 2 days, including the airport. Good value for me at 20 euros.
