God price for a 3 days family-stay in Hamborg. Great with free parking. A bit away from the city center, but with the Subway within 400 meters, that was ok... But what you save in parking, you spent on the train/subway. It was a fine breakfast - a bit budget, but good for price.

clean room and friendly staff

The service of staff is good and helpful. Hotel location is good. The room is clean and tidy, but the toilet is a bit small, the shower place no place to put towel and cleaning clothes for changing after the bath. Not enough space for placing belongings.

The check-in was simple and the staff very warm and helpful. The room was a family room with a single bunk over the double bed. It was sparsely furnished and decorated but functional and met our needs. Our only complaint would be that cigarette smoke was smelt constantly in the hallway, lift and foyer yet the only smoking we saw was outside.

The receptionist (on 14th of September) was extremely kind and helpful. The only disappointing thing: we left the card with the request to clean on Monday 16th but it was ignored :(

Staff pleasant and helpful

We were very impressed with the care taken by the desk staff who spoke perfect English. They went beyond the call of duty in sorting out any problems we had. The room was satisfactory, and the breakfast was also fresh and nutritious.

We broke up a long drive with a one-night stay at this hotel. Parking and checking in was easy, the staff was very helpful. The room was very basic and appeared not to have been used recently prior to our arrival. The location of the hotel wasn't as handy as we thought to go out in Hamburg for the evening - we had to walk quite a bit to find a suitable bar/eatery and none of the available places were lively or particularly engaging. We opted against breakfast and left early next morning. No complaints but no fond memories of a nice evening, either

Clean, quiet, great staff. Location perfect for my purposes-- somewhat far from downtown if that's where one's attention lies. I took off a point because breakfasts are good but quite basic-- i.e., nothing warm. But even that is convenient, moderately priced, and clean/quiet.

At first everything seemed just fine. When arriving at 9pm at the counter, the concierge was upset about us arriving late, then informed us, that the booking had not been finalized online and that our room had been given to someone else. Luckily one other room was vacant and could be booked by us. He told us, it had been an issue with the online check-in, he could see that the check-in had been started but not finalized. That was not what we had experienced. We even made telephone contact two days earlier to ask about special accomodations for breakfast (which we got, thank you gluten free!) and when will arrive at the hotel. Thats for that.

Extremely accommodating, efficient and friendly with a high level of customer service year over year. This was probably our 5th year there and it always feels now like I’m coming “home!” Thank you Christian, Helena and Francie!

Good breakfast, clean rooms. Easy to find along B75. Small rooms, bad view over backside, no hotel parking.
