The hotel is OK, however, there is a lot of train noise in the rooms, and it is quite loud, at least where I was located.

I had another wonderful stay at ibis Styles Barmbeck. The location was ideal, close to the station and public transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering excellent value. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I’d highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Not a good experience overall - will not return

Poor experience overall with the hotel staff. The check-in staff was rude and made us feel unwelcome. This occurred because I asked a question if our Accor membership was attached to our booking. He could not answer the question and said we should ask when we check out. We also asked if our booking request for side by side rooms was fulfilled and he was unfriendly and harsh in his response. He also could not confirm if breakfast was included in our rate or not. I knew it was due to my booking confirmation email. We booked 2 x twin rooms however he allocated us 2 x double bed rooms which was disappointing. As it was around midnight when we got to our rooms we didn't feel like going back down to reception to discuss this.

Good location next to bahnhof and the restaurant public was very good and staff very friendly. Rooms where neathly. Will definitely return for my next stay in Hambug
