1. The housekeeper opened the door without even knocking while I was still inside 2. The sound of the railway is really loud during the night 3. The official website and support team confirmed points could be used at the front desk, yet the staff here denied it. Saying that I can only use it via website. I’m not sure where the communication broke down, but the overall experience has been very disappointing

A really nice hotel. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Hamburg. The receptionist was very friendly, and we even received an upgrade to a lovely room with a double bed instead of the single beds we originally booked, which was a great touch. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet, so we had a great night’s sleep. The location is excellent—right next to Barmbek U/S-Bahn, making it easy to get around Hamburg by train or bus. It’s close to the city centre, in a pleasant area, and also convenient for the airport and the A7 motorway. Breakfast was good—standard for Ibis—with everything you need for a nice start to the day. The only small disappointment was that the pancake machine wasn’t working, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, a very nice hotel with great value for money. I would definitely come back and recommend it! 😊

The only thing , restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday. There are enough restaurants on walking distance. Not open restaurant for dinner , should be mentioned in the booking process.
