Nice and comfortable place to stay, with a good location. However, I was very disappointed by the attitude of the reception staff, who were unfriendly and not particularly willing to help. We arrived late at night after a long journey from Finland with two tired children, and the welcome we received was far from warm. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience the next morning when I simply asked how to get out of the parking area. I felt as though I was asking for something extremely complicated, rather than a basic piece of information. The hotel itself was pleasant, but the lack of friendliness and customer service at reception left a negative impression on our stay.

Chose this hotel for location and ability to park safely. Prior to booking had asked to reserve a space in advance. Was told no need as never a problem - we were early and found a space but by 6pm it was full so could have been an issue. Location is good but noisy at night - surprised there isn’t better soundproofing. Room was fine but bar and restaurant charmless.

If one level appears busy, there is usually sufficient availability on the lower levels, as we are generally not fully occupied. We also noted your comments regarding noise at night and the room experience, and we will review this internally. At the same time, we were particularly interested in your impression of our bar and restaurant. The breakfast was very good, staff very friendly, but the wifi seemed poor and I missed a desk in the room, there was just a coffee table.
