The refurbished rooms are not as cosy as the old ones.

We stayed on New Year 2019 and also booked the Dinner Menu. Generally scoring the location is very good with the underground in front of the hotel (10 min to city center). Breakfast is surprisingly expensive! New Year Dinner was fully served as a buffet (I would expect main courses to be served) but the food was good and well cooked. We also missed some ambient music (hotel has speakers available on the ceiling).

Receptionist Mr. Rajeb recognizes us as old guests immediately and made us feel Just at home, so warm! This is 5 year in the row my wife and I enjoyed Christmas vacations in Hamburg by staying at Novotel Alster City. We can only say it’s getting better and better, personnel are always nice and recognize the old guests, made us feel like home! Alena’s breakfast team is wonderful, warm and professional, well done!

I was staying with my wife and 2 year old daughter. We got a nice and clean room which met our expectations. The location of the hotel was also nice, the metro was right outside the main entrance, though we decided to walk to the center, which was also possible to do in 15-20min. The staff at the reception was pleasant and gave our daughter some small gifts, which we really appreciated, it is always nice to see our daughter happy. The only thing that I see as a small minus is the elevators, they are a bottleneck during certain hours of the day.

Hello! The hotel is great, nice location and good staff at reception and bar. But room service is under all criticism. I often use hotels in your chain but this kind of service has never happened to me. When we arrived at the hotel on the second evening at about 8 pm, the room was neither cleaned nor towels changed and the mini bar was not loaded. On the third evening the room was fixed but there was no shampoo and we had to wait about an hour for it to be delivered to us, the mini bar was half full

Lovely hotel very close to transport. Drinks at the bar very expensive. Tuck 550 eruo off my card at the start of our stay and said it would go back on straight away but still waiting

We was 4 friends who was at the hotel 3 Nights. It was good Food, goos service. The only thing we did not like was that we ordered to twin rooms. We get one twin room and one dooble room.
