All in all we had i fine stay... But we could have been informed that the lounge area was undergoing af rebuild... Mayby that should not happen in december where I guess you have a lot of holiday travellers. January what maybe fit a rebuilt better... It was a bit unsatisfaying that the temperary louge was located in a conference room. We could have sat alot more in the hotel if there were an attractive lounge area... The waiter at the morningservice who took us to our table needs a payraise... She is doing an incredible job, and even though she should be stressed out with all that running, she just smiled and made us feel like home :)

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Hamburg Christmas markets. One of the underground stations entrance is directly outside the hotel. The nearest station is Lübecker StraBe. The room was clean and comfortable, housekeepers cleaned the room each day. There was a small gym and a spa area on the top floor which was nice to have available. Our booking confirmation stated the room had a fridge however it did not, the area for the fridge was there but empty. We were looking forward to buying normal milk to make tea but were not able to. We enquired at reception about the fridge but they said it wasn’t on our booking but it clearly was. My mum has fortnightly injections that have to be kept in a fridge, luckily they were not due during our trip but I would advise anyone who expects a fridge in their room that needs it for medication to contact the hotel before arriving to ensure they have the fridge, even if it is confirmed on the booking it isn’t guaranteed there will be one. We booked breakfast for one morning during our stay, it was expensive at €27 each, the breakfast was nice though with a good selection. Drinks were also expensive with a small bottle of water over €3 but there is a supermarket a short walk away The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if visiting Hamburg.

Good publi transportation connections, it has a gym (should be improved with heavier weights and would be nice to have a multi purpose machine)
