I can’t believe the lack of sound insulation in this build. The road noise resulted in minimal sleep.

Stayed for just the 9 hours waiting for another flight, service was basic but comfortable, very noisy with traffic etc.

However, we regret to hear that the size of the bathroom facilities and the sound insulation did not completely meet your expectations. Our hotel design focuses on maximising affordability and practicality, which sometimes results in compact spaces. We understand that a peaceful night's rest is important, especially when traveling, and we strive to provide a quiet environment through our triple-glazed windows and by offering rooms on higher floors for reduced noise from traffic. Felt very unsafe getting to your hotel on foot from airport terminal at night time and airport taxis refusing my fare.

Ibis Budget at Melbourne Airport was perfect for a hot shower and a good night’s sleep prior to our early morning flight. Conveniently located a few minutes walk from the terminals, our early rise became much less worrisome knowing we were already on site.
