I returned to Ibis Maraihf after many years. Redecorated and redesigned the reception area.... the restaurant, the entire lobby.... Honestly I liked it better before, now it is not a friendly place for guests. At least the "Gunter" restaurant is a total disappointment, waiters who are not very prepared, bad food, disappointment. Likewise the breakfast, a pale memory of what it was before, very poor and reduced in diversity. The only good thing are the rooms, equally large and beautiful, with air conditioning!

Room 1221. A bit disappointed as I'm a Silver member. Bed was comfortable. That was good! Room could do with renovating, though. Looking very old and tatty. Shower door didn't close smoothly. Inside of the shower door was dirty (build up of yellow bacteria). Towels were a bit grey (not white) and hard ( not soft and fluffy).

I liked the hotel’s location and the friendly staff at reception. But we weren’t happy that, although we’d asked for instructions on how to use the garage before we arrived, we didn’t receive them. We were helped with parking only we’d arrived. You could also improve the signage in the car park and the car park lift, as it wasn’t clear how to get from the car park to reception the first time round. The room really lacks a fridge in summer and a kettle in winter.

We had very comfortable stay in this hotel. Everything was clean, perfect location and breakfast was very delicious. And i want to say big thanks to all staff in the hotel especially on reception and in the restaurant. They were very helpful and kind. I will come back next time for sure and I can recommend it for 100%.
