I spent two months at the ibis Munich Garching in July 2026. The Hotel has an ongoing issue with it air-conditioning system which I was made aware of on check-in and offered either some complementary cols drinks or complementary parking by means of an apology. My room was very standard Ibis room comfortable bad and the window overlooked the U-Bahn which is right next door. The hotel is situated in a business park which is very quiet in the evenings and weekends there are little or no cafés or restaurants nearby there is one Edeka supermarket. The railway station being next door is convenient because it takes only 20 minutes to reach the centre of Munich

I'm giving rate of 9 because I found both staff and hotel itself extremely useful and guest oriented. The only issue was with broken AC in the entire hotel which seemed to take quite a lot of time to fix. It's more comment toward SLA for such repair which got hotel should be faster. Apart from that, hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay smooth, including provision of electric fan. So overally AC should not cover up the fact that it's a great place to stay with super convenient connection to Munich city center.

overall pretty ok but cleaning staff woke me up at 7 something with loud noises that lasted long enough that I had to wake up... why would the staff starts so early and make so much noise?!?!?!

Everything was fine but for the fact that the parking is not very clearly evidenced as separately payable service. I chose Ibis over the nearby hotel because of that and was taken by surprise to discover that you bill the parking separately.
