I would like to share some feedback regarding my experience upon arrival at the hotel. As soon as I entered the room, I noticed an unpleasant smell, somewhat resembling a toilet odour or a stale, musty smell. It was quite noticeable from the moment I stepped inside. You may have noticed that I hung a toilet air freshener in the bathroom, as I was trying to minimise the unpleasant smell. Chose the Roxy for an overnight transit stay. It’s conveniently located between airport and city and was fine for one night. Dining options were good and breakfast very good.

Stay was comfortable. Only concerns were: 1) Despite asking during booking hotel has not allocated twin room for our kids 2) Despite available room they didn't allocated rooms before 3 pm and it has impacted our vacation plan.

I had a very pleasant stay at Grand Mercure. I was particularly impressed with the faster and more seamless check-in process, which is now fully digital and paperless. I also requested to link my booking to my ALL – Accor Live Limitless account, and it was great to know my room number right away, making the arrival experience even more convenient. The breakfast was also enjoyable, with a good selection of food to start the day. The concierge staff very friendly and attentive. For my next stay, I would appreciate a room on a higher floor, if possible, as it would make the overall experience even better. Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to staying with Grand Mercure again.

Decided to try this as a stopover hotel rather than the on-airport Crowne Plaza (good but expensive) or YotelAir (bad but expensive). This hotel is only a 10 minute ride away and is much better value so I would definitely use it again. It's not in a tourist area but there are local streets and eateries to explore. Metro is literally outside the front door to get further afield. It's an older building and is aging in some areas but some refurb has been done. Gold status upgrade to a spacious (by Singapore standards) deluxe room, clean, with comfortable bed and pillows, although a little basic, and it has all expected amenities. The bathroom is an older style with shower-over-bath arrangement. Friendly and efficient service, gym, reasonable pool area, nice bar next to the pool, small cafe in the lobby for snacks, and a buffet restaurant which was reasonable at the current 40% discount for guests.

Perfect to sleep through my jet lag before moving on to the city. Nice morning runs at ECP. Highlight was the serene Happy Hour at Breeze by the pool. Nice breakfast that never felt crowded though the hotel was full
