If you are looking for a hotel in Hong Kong that a reasonably priced and pleasant to stay in then this is the hotel for you. Wan Chai is a great area to base yourself. Infront of the hotel is a stairway to the footbridge that takes you straight across to the Star Ferry to get you to Kowloon. If you don't get on the ferry there is the promenade all along the harbour front. This hotel is a short walk from Wan Chai MTR station, Central is only two stops up from there. I walked to Central once, it wasn't that far and it's a great walk because you get to see everything. The breakfast was only ok. I would 100% pick this as my hotel when I go back to Hong Kong but I just wouldn't get the breakfast included. Choice was limited and food not great. The room was nice and what I liked about it was that it had a big desk I could work at when I needed to. This is perfect for anyone travelling on business or needing to do some work remotely. Contrary to other reviews, the bathroom in my room was nice and the shower pressure was excellent. I just had the basic room, not the exec room and it was plenty big enough. I'm really fussy with pillows but they provide a firm and a soft pillow so perfect for most. Staff very helpful and friendly. I'm not going to bother looking at other hotels next time I'm coming straight back to this one.

I've stayed at the Novotel Century twice in 2025, and it's far from the worst hotel I've stayed at but it does show it's age. The bathrooms in the rooms are a low light, the shower in the bathtub is very dated, but the rooms themselves are reasonable. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I would assume the hotel is a popular holiday package deal hotel. This is evident in the restaurant at breakfast as it's akin to a visit to an IKEA cafe, it is very noisy and overcrowded and the staff struggle to keep up with the food and coffee machines.

Stay was okay but the location of the property is excellent! There was nothing standout about the service nor the breakfast or rooms which are not only dated but lack basic things like adequate electric points in the room or besides the bed side. Staff at the lobby was good and smiling, can’t say the same about the staff in the breakfast area, they were just there to complete their shift - M. focused on closing the breakfast area than looking after the guest or their requirements!

Stayed for four nights for work. Rooms are decent. However, did not get any of the Gold Accor member treatment - no welcome drink voucher - nothing.
