Well located but bad quality food

The hotel provides essentials for personal care like teeth brush, toothpaste, comb and towels. And the staff are friendly. Room is big enough but the air conditioning system doesn’t work. We switch the temperature to 15 degrees but it still feels like 30 degrees. Besides, the semi buffet breakfast is the worst part. Everything except the frozen food is unsalted. Omelette is over cooked. I would rather pay an extra fee for a better breakfast next time.

Very helpful receptionist, can rearrange a room upon our request (with bath tube) Offered us a late check out to 14:00 at the checkout day around 12:00 noon, which is also appreciated. However, the room cleaner came to our room at around 12:30, didn't notice that we are not checked out yet. Communication between the staff can be improved.

There is water leakage from the bathroom. Staff quickly arrange another room for me as the problem cannot be solved at that moment. They are very nice and willing to communicate with customers.

Stayed for Covid quarantine. Found the room to be quiet good size clean & tidy. Had meals provided and found all meals exceptional. Would definitely stay again for any occasion. All staff were helpful & friendly.

Nothing to complain about the location. This is the main reason why I stay here at Novotel. However, definitely there are things to improve for better service. -Environment: as the hotel is quite old, you can see carpets and wall papers are not clean here and there, equipments at gym are rusty. - Housekeeping: Rooms are not made meticulously and I need to make special requests to change linens, clean the bathroom walls, or remove unpleasant odor. I see curtains, shower curtain, and bed skirts are not changed and remained stained for long. - Hospitality: More importantly, staffs never say hello: only few do. Spent a lot of my time at different hotels around the world but this is the only hotel that I always greet first somehow. This does not necessarily mean staffs are not kind - they are willing to help whenever being asked, but do not go further than that.
