check-in time too long, obstructed view

check-in process took so long. we had to wait more than 20 mins for check-in. I think better to separate group and individual check-in. wasting time room advertisement in agoda missleading (there is 2 option room : city and harbour view). we reserved for harbour view. got a room with obstructed view 3303. guests experice manager told us that all rooms are harbour view. its so confusing, since agoda listing said the opposite way. I'd expect better from mondrian brand. we stayed in novotel century the day before, and I am sorry to say they offer better service even they are midscale brand

But check-out process/system should be improved. It was super chaotic and there was no clear “queue” system so everyone was just crowding the lobby. Also not sure why they were giving priority to people checking in when they couldn’t check in till 3pm anyway.

Great hotel for location, design & service.

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. My favorite in the area. Great hotel design with an amazing view of the Hong Kong harbour. Has a fantastic bar on the 38th floor, one of the best in the city. 3 Min walk to the trains, shopping and restaurants at its doorstep. Definitely gives you a luxurious and local Hong Kong neighborhood experience. I also got injured and ended up getting 5 stiches on my leg (accident happend at another luxury hotel) . I decided to stay in my room the whole day, the more i enjoyed my room and recieved a very thoughtful get well soon note with a tea set (Chinese tea & eggs tarts). Felt safe & well taken cared of by the team.

Generally good. Good to have water filter, environmentally friendly. Bar on 38th floor looks fantastic. Neighbourhood eateries are aplenty. Room service also good. Hospitable staff. This is our 2nd time staying here. Will return. Areas to improve: Checkin process slow. Shower and sink drainage of water is slow. Didn't provide shower cap.

From the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out i felt very welcome at Mondrian. Special thanks to FOH and Guest Experience for the awesome experience. Check in was conducted swiftly with all my questions answered. I was even pleasantly surprised to find out I had been allocated a harbour view room. Unexpectedly small snacks were also delivered to my room. A big thank you! And thank you to Hazel at Avoca. Viability busy, Hazel still had the time to interact with her guests ensuring a positive and pleasant experience. As an employee of Singapore Airlines, the customer is at the core of everything we do. I can say with confidence, the staff at Mondrian HK represented the brand exemplary providing fantastic customer service and creating an out of this world customer experience.
