I prefer staying here for a layover rather than the Regal hotel at the airport bc the airport shuttle is every 20 mins and only takes 10 mins to get to the airport, this hotel is attached to a fantastic mall and the train station is attached to the mall so it takes roughly the same time into central Hong Kong as the airport train does. Much more to do at this hotel. The rooms are slightly better than at the regal too.

Excellent service from staff. Our check-in person (Grima?) gave us an upgrade to a higher floor with view, much appreciated. Other service folks such as the room Stewart were also great. The only thing I would say were a negative was the room condition. It was clean, no problem there. But it was old, had a musky smell, and the washroom design was awkward. NO PRIVACY at all. For a married couple that might not be a problem. But two single persons sharing would find the lack of privacy unacceptable. For us, we would come back if the price was right. The location next to the mall, mtr, and the airport shuttle are factors that would bring us back.

I would like to point out a couple of maintenance issues with the bathroom.
The shower lever was broken and would come off completely, making it difficult to adjust both the water temperature and water flow.
Also, there was a missing section of grout between the floor tiles in the shower area. As a result, water from the shower was leaking into the toilet area through the gap.
As I stayed for only one night, I did not report these issues during my stay. However, I hope they can be checked and repaired for future guests.
As an ALL – Accor Live Limitless member, I have stayed at a number of Accor hotels and generally appreciate the quality of the facilities and service. I would therefore appreciate it if these maintenance issues could be addressed.
