The unfriendliness of the reception staff and the process is very inconvenient, such as the request for an extra bed, but they told me to pay right away at the reception.

We had a fantastic stay at Novotel Citygate Hong Kong. We initially chose this hotel because of the very positive reviews online and recommendations from family members — and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we checked in, we experienced genuine hospitality. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Grima from the reception warmly accommodated us upon arrival and made sure everything was seamless throughout our stay. She went the extra mile with thoughtful gestures that truly elevated our experience and made it even more memorable. Dinna from the lounge also provided outstanding service and made us feel very welcome. From arrival until departure, we truly felt taken care of. The service felt sincere and thoughtful — something that makes all the difference when traveling with family (especially with kids!). This is definitely the hotel we will book again on our next visit. Highly recommended! <3

I had booked two rooms for a one night stay. I had made a mistake with the booking dates. Thankfully we were accommodated and a disaster was averted. The check-in staff helped us and sorted it out quickly and without fuss. We had rooms rebooked and our journey continued without issues.
