My booking is a Premier room which is spacious with an excellent view. We were offered free access to the Premier Lounge on 21st Floor and we loved the cosy environment and light refreshments. This added extra delight to my experience with the hotel.

We needed a place to stay for a few days in between our house move so chose the Novotel due to it's location. While it was a comfortable stay, we had 2 small children with us and I wish there were some more child-friendly facilities at the hotel to help keep them entertained. Even a small playroom or a child-pool in the swimming pool area would have helped greatly. I appreciate that this isn't pitched as a family hotel but even something small would have made a huge difference.

It was a splendid experience with so many wow factors. Eg, Two or three desserts per week, warming reminder for the fire alarm test and so on. However, some of the staffs might lost sight of some details, like jet lag. I wish this blemish will not be happened again, especially the first few days.

general experience is good but the breakfast is lack of variety and quality is just barely acceptable. since the staff said we are the first customer to purchase this new culture package, if there is a welcome drink offer will be appreciated.

Quick response to irregularities senior staff have promptly rectify the situation with an excellent and courteous manner. Her name is Catherine if I did not get it wrong. The executive lounge has great ambience as well. Essence has a calm and quiet atmosphere for breakfast I really enjoyed. The location of this Hotel is great near to a airport and shopping mall with numerous restaurants.

This hotel was not part of our travel plans until a cancelled flight due to Covid-19 made us overnight Hong Kong. Booked with Agoda, lowest rate possible. They are about 5 km (~10 mins) from the airport and have a shuttle running every 20 minutes. Even though there were not many people at the airport, the shuttle was still running. We checked in, had to fill in a health assessment & have our temperatures taken. They were wonderful, upgraded us to a Club Level room on the 21st floor with lounge access, wow, nice! Our room had a view of the water, Citygate Outlet, freeway & airport. Big windows, queen bed, separate toilet & shower areas, work desk, chair, lots of plug ins, good WiFi, fully stocked fridge, coffee maker, kettle, tea/coffee, robes, iron, lots of lights, a couple footlights, on each side of bed that when turned on, turned the bathroom light on so could see at night with low lighting. They allowed us very late checkout due to the very low number of guests, wow, nice. They had nice afternoon tea, nice evening snacks & beverages and a nice light continental breakfast. The hotel has some nice restaurants plus several in the outlet mall. In the basement of the mall, there is a grocery store with great take away food, sushi & more, wish we know about it earlier. Great place, great hospitality in a stressful time for many travellers. If you need a hotel in the area, recommend staying here, great caring staff and hotel.

By far the strangest hotel I've stayed in

It's not that there is anything 'bad' about your hotel, in fact it has a lot going for it, good location, great breakfast, lots of nearby amenities, it's just that everything about the rooms is a bit 'off'. Firstly, the keys barely work, it took me nearly a minute to get into my room, I thought I would have to go get a new key, and this was the case every time I tried to re-enter the room, I had to try multiple times to hold the key in just the right place to get the lock to open. Secondly, I never can figure out the lights in the room. I've stayed in your hotel multiple times and every time I am spending a lot of time trying to figure out how to turn lights on and off. There is no switch for the bathroom lights, though there is a pull string and in all the lights seem to be an all or none situation, very annoying. Finally, every time I stay here the first thing I have to do, once I figure out the lighting, is unplug the cordless phone so I have somewhere to plug in my phone charger. I find it absolutely ridiculous that you do not have an accessible outlet available anywhere near the bed for a charger. I would recommend that you at least install a power strip in every room, preferably with an adapter for foreign chargers so that guests can charge their electronic devices without unplugging the phone. Also, please note that I only provided you this email address as part of the health screening questionnaire I was asked to fill out and I never consented to receiving marketing emails from you, so I consider this a breach of privacy and in all another black mark against Novotel.

The Novotel Hong Kong is conveniently located near the International Airport for travellers who needed an overnight stay before catching a connecting flight to one's destination. The airport shuttle is providing courtesy and convenience and it brought me to the hotel swiftly. At check in, the staff is polite and helpful. I also appreciate the automatic upgrade to a room on the Executive Level, especially since the hotel has plenty of available rooms due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. I was disappointed at the lack of drinks and food supplies in the Executive lounge; perhaps it was due to the fact that I arrived quite late in the evening. The snack available in the lounge for breakfast was adequate and of high quality. The croissants are good and the espresso coffee machine makes a good cup of Cappuccino. Last, but not the least, is the possibility of late checkout beyond 12 noon. This has allowed me to relax in the privacy of my own room before departing to catch my flight at the airport. All in all, I find my overnight stay to be comfortable, relaxing, and the staff have made me feel welcome.

Check in was very smooth. But, I was given a room designed for wheelchair without being asked. Toilet seat has urine stain that wasn't cleaned off. This brings me to wonder what else wasn't clean properly. Breakfast was so-so. Check out was quick. Importantly, staff were friendly.

From the monent we arrived the staff were amazing and very welcoming to us. We received a free upgrade and they even gave us a handmade card - as we were there for part of our honeymoon - which was an amazing effort. The room was great with plent of space and all the amenities you could need. To top it all off it is very well placed being close to the airport and attached to a shopping centre. The resturant has great food and the bartenders signatire drink is very good.

We stayed for one night while on our way to Indonesia and for one night on our way home to Canada. The experience was overall a good one. On January 14th we were offered an upgrade for our room. Unfortunately, due to our tight flight timelines we were unable to take full advantage of this upgrade. On our return trip on March 10th and 11th, I had asked for a similar upgrade because we had more time between flights but this did not happen and there was no response to my email request. We were disappointed in this BUT our overall experience was still good! Thank you!
