I am currently attending a training/workshop at ZHAW University in Zurich, and I chose to stay at your hotel because I have always trusted and patronized the IBIS brand during my travels. I checked in on 07 December 2025, and I would like to mention that both the lady at the reception and the staff in the office were very welcoming and accommodating. Today is my second day at the hotel. I left early in the morning at around 08:25 AM and returned at approximately 9:00 PM. I did not use the shower yesterday. However, when I went to take a shower today, I found a used razor placed on top of the shampoo bottle. I hope you can understand the seriousness of this situation. This is a significant health concern, especially as I am a visitor here and could be exposed to potential infection. After discovering the razor, I went downstairs to report the issue. The staff member at the reception asked me, “Are you from Room 201? What’s going on?” I replied, “What do you mean by what’s going on?” He then said he had heard from the supervisor/manager that I was complaining about the laundry. I explained that I had only informed her and shown her the clothes that came back from the laundry. He responded that he had heard something else was going on. This exchange was quite strange and concerning to me, as it gave the impression of miscommunication or misunderstanding among the staff. I immediately reported the hygiene issue, and the staff member informed me that it has been noted and will be discussed with the manager in the morning. I kindly request that this matter be taken seriously and addressed promptly. I would appreciate feedback on how the hotel intends to ensure such incidents do not occur again and what measures will be taken regarding my current stay.

There was some problems with the booking (probably as I used my newer e-mail address). I wrote an email to the hotel and the booking was made and changed to my old account. Anyway at the hotel, I was a guest at standard level and did not get the welcome drinks. (Does not really matter). However everything was cleared up on the way we left and there is probably no problems next time.

As expected for an Ibis but room for improvement. Breakfast was excellent!
