On arrival hotel reception had no record of my booking even though I had all the correct references. Took 30mins to solve. Room was opened and burst into by staff at5am saying alarms had gone off. There was no note of alarm in the room, but seems steam from a normal shower had activated. I then had 2 staff members exploring my room whilst I was still undressed

The staff at reception (notably, Lea) were extremely friendly and moreover helpful, explaining to me the Winterthur transport system and that I could cancel and rebook my SBB ticket so that my bus from Loki could be included. Hospitality is in the details

The overall experience was good; breakfast, as always at this hotel, could have been better. The only hot items available were scrambled eggs, the bread selection was also very limited. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, and I'm not referring to the quality of the daily cleaning, but rather to the overall approach to the condition of the room. The carpet was downright disgusting – full of all sorts of dirt, such as stains, discoloration, and so on. A wet clean every few months would have been enough. There was also trash under the bed.

The Hotel ( Roms ) Show their "age".. I.e .: Carpets ! But in général clean and ok. ! Value for Money (Price) is good.
