A comfortable night is one of the most important parts of a hotel stay, and I completely understand how frustrating it is to start the next day tired, especially when travelling with family. After receiving your feedback, I personally looked into what happened regarding the electricity. After the first power interruption, our colleague identified your adapter as the possible cause and asked you not to use it again. Unfortunately, when it was connected again, another power interruption occurred and this time affected the entire floor. I am sorry, however, if the way this situation was communicated made you feel uncomfortable or not well taken care of. Regarding the storage, our rooms follow the current Novotel concept with an open storage and hanging area instead of a traditional closed wardrobe. I completely understand, however, that when travelling as a family and with more luggage, some additional drawers or shelves would make the stay more comfortable. I would not stay at this hotel again. 1. Electrical fault and poor handling The power tripped in my room late at night, leaving it completely dark. I called reception, who sent someone from maintenance. Both were rude, and the receptionist repeatedly suggested that I had caused the problem by charging an iPhone, a watch and headphones. Anyone would think I had been trying to charge an electric car in the room. Instead of offering reassurance or practical help, both were dismissive and unpleasant to deal with. It is completely unreasonable to suggest that hotel guests should not charge ordinary personal devices, particularly when travelling for work. What stood out most was the complete lack of customer service: no reassurance, no clear communication and no consideration of the fact that I was a woman travelling alone, in a dark hotel room, in the middle of the night. When I raised the incident with reception again the following day, the response was equally disappointing. Staff seemed apathetic and unsure how to deal with the complaint. 2. Room cleanliness and breakfast quality The room was not particularly clean, and the breakfast was poor quality. Pastries and vegetables were stale, and the quality of the cold meats and other items was disappointing for a Novotel. 3. Lack of basic facilities I was staying at the hotel for a conference and needed an iron. I was told that none were available because they had all been given to other rooms, so I had to use the hotel’s ironing room instead. This added unnecessary stress when preparing for the conference, and the iron provided there was itself very poor. Taken together, the experience fell well below what I would expect from Novotel. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to others.

After receiving your feedback, I personally looked into what happened regarding the electricity. After the first power interruption, our colleague identified your adapter as the possible cause and asked you not to use it again. Unfortunately, when it was connected again, another power interruption occurred and this time affected the entire floor. I am sorry, however, if the way this situation was communicated made you feel uncomfortable or not well taken care of. Clean room, good breakfast, nice pool area. Storage for clothes was limited though, we would have liked some drawers or shelves, we had to leave our cases open on the floor which was inconvenient and made the room untidy.

As returning guests, with the Accor Live Limitless membership, we were disappointed by our recent one-night stay at Novotel Prague Wenceslas Square. Despite booking an Executive Room for two, Room 623 on the top floor felt notably small. The experience was a mixed bag, leaving us feeling that the premium room category fell short of expectations. The bed, while on the smaller and short side, was comfortable and came with a good selection of pillows. The Nespresso machine worked well, the orange sofa was a comfy touch, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay. The courtyard view was thoroughly unimpressive, and the carpet showed visible stains. The bathroom felt cramped and lacked a rain shower. Most frustratingly, a persistent smell of cigarette smoke drifted into the separate toilet room via the ventilation system, and the AC unit made an annoying noise all night despite being completely switched off. While the mini bar was stocked with non-alcoholic drinks, the single Pilsner Urquell beer provided tasted distinctly off/weird. ​We spent time in the indoor swimming pool and sauna, which was mostly a satisfying, relaxing experience. However, management needs to fix the sauna door, as it fails to seal properly and remains slightly open. We did not use the small gym. The ​rooftop terrace & bar was the highlight of the stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop views, pleasant atmosphere, and welcoming bartenders. We chose not to dine at the hotel restaurant. ​Overall, this stay lacked the polish and value we expected for an Executive Room. While a few highlights kept the trip pleasant, the room issues mean we will likely look at other hotel options next time we visit Prague (there are plenty of other hotels in this category).

Clean and comfortable room with the nice extra of some complimentary refreshments. The pool was an added bonus - even though it was a bit on the cold side for us! - and a nice way to relax after exploring the city. Breakfasts were great with lots of choice and we enjoyed dinner at the hotel too. The location was great for us - within walking distance of the train station. Also within a 25 minute walk of other attractions.

The hotel is nice for families, with A. pleasant pool, play area for younger kids, and A. good breakfast. The location is also very convenient, right next to the museum and A. metro station. However, if you book A. non-refundable or non-flexible rate, it is truly non-flexible. The hotel focuses strictly on the contract. Usually, Accor tries to understand the client's needs and find A. fair balance. I asked to move my booking from Thursday and Friday to Monday and Tuesday, but the response was simply: "Based on the rate, we cannot do it." While the hotel is fully within its rights to strictly enforce the contract, doing so does not always translate to good business. They had availability, the days I requested usually see lower demand and fewer bookings than Thursday and Friday, and I was not asking for A. refund. Had they offered an upgrade or A. rate difference, I would have willingly paid for it. Yet, they strictly chose the letter of the contract over customer satisfaction. When A. hotel has nothing to lose financially by showing A. little flexibility, choosing the strict rules over the customer costs them something far more valuable: customer trust and loyalty. Result: I couldn't extend my stay at another Accor hotel, though I stayed at Novotel for the original period as booked. Even I had booked Accor hotels for all 10 trip days, for the additional two days I needed, I intentionally chose not to stay with Accor. If A. hotel has nothing to lose financially and still chooses rigid policies over customer relationship, it is not A. hotel I will choose next time. Again, they are not wrong in their decision, clear this. Business are made by choices.

The hotel was very well located and easy to get to as it is situated close to the metro and tram stops. The staff were friendly, kind and very helpful, and made the check-in, check-out and overall stay very enjoyable and trouble free. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and it was well soundproofed ensuring that no noise was heard from the street.

We stayed at the executive family room, it was good and the air conditioning working well. Location is good. Negative comment is for breakfast and staffs. The breakfast starts from 6;30am but egg station is opened after 7:30am or even later , I asked the staff for omelette at 7:15am and she refused. No one wants to help and give service with smile at this restaurant . I’ve never seen a Novotel like this.
