Hotel room was comfortable & clean. The only thing that was a bit negative was our room overlooked Morrison delivery yard & there was quite a bit of noise from delivery lorries in the very early ours of the morning. I would definitely ask for a room the other side of the hotel if possible. Breakfast was ok.

I stayed at Ibis Stratford for work for 6 days. The room was clean, with bed linen changed regularly. Good use of wifi. The size of the double room was OK while I was alone, but too small when my partner stayed for the first couple of nights. The breakfast was basic. The staff was really polite and helpful.

Noise & Location: The back of the hotel overlooks an active municipal street-cleansing and collection vehicle depot. Reversing alarms, truck engines, and bin activity ran throughout the night, making sleep difficult for rear-facing rooms. • Unpleasant Odour: Experienced a persistent, strong smell in the room - likely originating from the operational fleet yard or local drainage/plumbing issues. • Dated Rooms: The room was very basic, bare, and in clear need of a full refurbishment. • Cleanliness: Carpets were worn extremely thin and felt like they needed a deep steam clean. Overall: Between the overnight vehicle disturbance, off-putting smell, and tired decor, the room was poor value for the price paid. If you do book here, ensure you request a front-facing room on a high floor well away from the rear yard.

The hotel is very conveniently located within easy walking distance of Stratford’s busy rail and Tube station. On arriving there check-in was very quick and easy. The room itself was immaculate and very comfortable - absolutely fine for a short stay. The breakfast was adequate. All in all it was a very good hotel.

Had to look for staff everytime we needed anything and when we found someone every request seemed like it was too much trouble, we needed batteries replaced in the TV remote and asked about the chrome cast function ( which wasn't working) that was the extent of our interactions with staff as well as check in and check out. The bed was terrible, hard as a rock and the pillows had absolutely no support. No point in asking about that though as a change of battery in a remote felt like too much trouble. Will not return or recommend
