The location is excellent and the staff are professional and helpful. The standard room is small and it did not have a desk and chair, which is why I rated it 8. It was very uncomfortable to sit on the bed to do some work on my laptop and to eat.

I did not book this hotel. Someone claiming to be me did! And once I got ”confirmation email” of the booking), I cancelled it - twice. Yet, the booking somehow still got through, and for whatever reason Accor seems not to be checking the ID/passport of its guests, meaning the fraudsters go undetected. It is shameful.

The fraudulent activity was not identified at the time, as the reservation had been indicated as being made for a friend—a situation that occurs frequently, as guests often share their Accor benefits with family or friends. We have contacted Accor Support and requested a refund of the points used. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Clarisse was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. As first-time visitors to Lyon, we really appreciated that she proactively shared restaurant and activity recommendations without us even having to ask. She was also quick to assist with any additional requests - whether pointing us to the best spot for a jambon beurre or providing extra toiletries when needed.
