Hot and wet

Room itself was OK, but much too hot with no way to lower it aside from opening the window (with inherent noise and bugs). In the lift the hotel makes a big show that 19C is the perfect temperature for a good night sleep, so why was the room stuck at something more like 24C? Also the shower did not drain well, leading at least once to overflow and a very wet bathroom floor. But everything else was satisfactory, if a little aged in places.

a little training on hospitality would go a long way

-hotel was clean and well located -no instructions inthe hotel of how to access the services...apparently I should have known that pressing 9 gies to reception??? This seems to be the norm in France (as I was communicated from front desk), well I guess not for the rest of the world -staff at front desk can really do with some training. On second day I refused room service then in the evening I asked for a couple of towels being apologetic and the person at front desk replied "you refused cleaning"...I got the towels in the end but come on...I can go on talking about something else but I think I conveyed the point -breakfast I asked for gluten free bread, it was delivered the inside was frozen and the worse gluten free bread I have ever had
