Booked this hotel & there is no notice on the website or app of renovations which are major & include lots of noise & disruption to the property. We expressed our annoyance at check in & nothing was done, then after we settled in to the room a 'manager' called & offered to upgrade our room & provide free breakfast for 2. The room change was minor & made no difference to the noise & inconvenience the renovations impacted our stay. The renovated rooms are lovely but it's terrible not to mention it in advance.

Overall, my stay at this hotel was good, with some positive highlights and a few things that could be improved. I really appreciated the warm welcome. The welcome card and the fruit plate in the room were a thoughtful touch and made me feel valued upon arrival. However, one aspect I did not like was the policy of holding a relatively high amount from my credit card as a deposit. As a Diamond member, this felt a bit uncomfortable and gave the impression of a lack of trust toward loyal guests. The hotel was also undergoing renovation during my stay, which made the environment a bit messy and less relaxing at times. That said, I understand improvements are necessary, and it did not completely ruin the experience. On a very positive note, the staff were excellent—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. I especially enjoyed the Moroccan hammam experience, which was fantastic, and I would like to give special thanks to Ibtisam for her professionalism and great service. All in all, despite a few inconveniences, it was a pleasant stay.
