Can't describe the experience as Iam sure this not belong to any local or international standard. I couldn't sit on the sofas inside the room and also the bed as the sofas are look like 100 years old full with bacterias and virusis and the bed sheets are dirty and the pilows are dirty and also not for human use. I have requested another pillows and bed cover and they brought to me another set but more dirty than the existing ones. Everything in the room look like full with viruses and I decided not to stay one minute and left the hotel around 11 PM same day of arrival without even touch anything and thinking twice and booked at other hotel around. At midnight Mr. Amin, night shift receptionist from Mercure hotel called me and he said he noticed that I left the hotel with my luggages and he offered his assistance and I explained to him the problem and he understood and I told him I will come to do check out and I went there and did a check our and they charged me one night. generally dirty hotel with no service inside the rooms. I have a question for this hotel general manager? can you stay your self one night inside room 204? This hotel not within ALL standard and don't know how nobody from ALL do any audit on such hotel.

Decent Hotel with Basic Amenities

Ree B Business - TripAdvisor review

The Mercure Grand Hotel Rabat is a simple and decent hotel that offers good value for money. It provides all the basic amenities you would expect for a comfortable stay, making it a suitable option for travelers seeking an affordable and no-frills experience. However, the hotel does feel a bit outdated in terms of design and facilities. One notable inconvenience is the lack of assistance with luggage. The lift is positioned on an elevated platform, requiring guests to carry their luggage up and down a few steps—a challenge that could easily be addressed with a slope or dedicated staff to assist. That said, the hotel delivers on the essentials, and for the price, it meets expectations. If you’re looking for a straightforward stay without luxury add-ons, this is a good option, though some minor improvements could make the experience more seamless.
