The team of Mrs. Hanane Boudanes was very receptive to all needs and tried to be helpful although not always successful. Mrs. Zineb and Ms. Soukaina were always pleasant at the reception desk with a pleasant smile and ready to help. Identical pleasant and helpful attitude from the team at breakfast mainly the two ladies in attendance at the restaurant, and the new chef who tried his best to provide a personalised service. I am pleased with the service and will make this hotel my go to address in Rabat. I must thank Mrs. Hanane Boudanes for creating such a welcoming environment in true Accor style at her hotel. L'équipe de Mme Hanane Boudanes a été très réceptive à tous les besoins et a essayé d'être utile même si elle n'a pas toujours réussi. Mme Zineb et Mme Soukaina étaient toujours agréables à la réception avec un sourire plaisant et prêtes à aider. Même attitude agréable et serviable de la part de l'équipe au petit déjeuner, principalement les deux dames du service présentes au restaurant, et le nouveau chef qui a fait de son mieux pour fournir un service personnalisé. Je suis satisfait du service et je ferai de cet hôtel mon adresse de référence à Rabat. Je dois remercier Mme Hanane Boudanes pour avoir créé un environnement si accueillant dans le style Accor dans son hôtel.

As as stayed here before the check in / Stay / Check out was always perfect. However, a behavior of a stuff that was taking breakfast a the restaurant in our day of departure was very unprofessional which made my stay this time disappointing.

Rooms are okay, however amenities like toilet paper, water bottles, soap etc were missing. Had to be requested several times. Also it‘s not very clean, especially the breakfast location.

I was delighted to stay again at Le Mercure in Rabat. I was upgraded to a room with bathroom which was a lovely surprise. I enjoyed the staff who were friendly and very helpful during these difficult times.

We enjoy coming back to the Mercure Sheherazade. The location is a bit out of the way, but in easy walking distance of the centre in one direction, and the Tour Hassan, Kasbah des Oudayas and Bou Regreg on the other. My husband has dietary restrictions and finds that even so the wide range of choice at the breakfast buffet allows him to start the day with a well-balanced meal. This time I had a problem booking online through the Accor website (unable to complete payment - I think the problem was with my bank rather than the Accor site) so I rang the hotel directly. The staff member I spoke to was very helpful, found my partially completed booking online and confirmed it manually, enabling me to pay once we arrived at the hotel. One slight negative comment: on both this visit and our previous one, we found minor issues with the room - a bathroom door which didn't close easily, a light fitting coming loose from the wall - things which the housekeeping staff should pick up on. Maybe they should be encouraged to check fittings which are not included in the daily cleaning routine?

Experience worth the diamond. The lady at the reception were so kind and helped us with fast checkin, complimentary upgrade and also guided us to the nearest market and new year night celebration. We were offered late check out. I requested the chef to make sauted vegetables which she did for both days. Police Security was there outside so it was safe. Hotel was close to Sultan Mosque and Tomb. House keeping staff was super awesome. Hotel manager was kind and helped us with late checkout. Issues:- - the hotel is bit outdated. - no shaving kit, slippers, bath gown was not there - welcome drink had only orange juice - breakfast had no veg options or less - staff at the restaurant was not very friendly

Hi, I was charged twice for one of the nights in the hotel, I just saw it in my bank account, I saw that throw the accord webpage there are 3 reservations for me in those days, and I am afraid of receive another charge,it had to be some internet issue, I am in the hotel this week and I will try to fix it with them this night, if not I hope you fix it, because I am going to be almost the full year here in Marocco and I would like to stay in your hotel if nothing more is going wrong.

Cartel for airport transfers

on the 7th of December 2019 i checked out and asked to mr said for a taxi to go to the airport. after a long wait mr said said that the taxi arrived and ready for us. As soon as i got out i realised that the vehicle wasnt a taxi and asked to the driver if he was a taxi. He replied saying he was a private chauffeur and that he would take me to the airport for 250 DHR. I went back inside the hotel asking to mr.said why he had called a private chauffeur when i only asked for a taxi and he said that that that was a taxi. I dont think it is fair to sustain such a cartel. I used taxis in Rabat for 10DHR. 250DHR is what i would pay in London for such a transfer. I didnt ask for a private chauffeur. Regards Tommaso

I would give this hotel a 2 star rating. No professional or helpful staff within the hotel. We did get help with a flat tire for the bellman. Food was OK but not much of Western food. Room view was bad.

Although installations look very old, workers are very sympathetic and do their best to make clients feel at home. Prices and accommodations are good. Food are excellent and of good prices. Stairs should be cleaned or tapis removed. The location oh the hotel is nicely quiet for a resting.
