I liked this hotel, the room was nice and the location was good. But the heater was on the blink and one day I came back to find the cleaners had left my door not only unlocked but open, which was obviously a safety concern.

Dirty manky carpet in entrance to room. Lack of teabags and sugar

Would have given the hotel a 10 if it hadn’t been for the lack of food and poor communication on Saturday night. There was a sign up saying no food between 7pm and 9pm due to a private party. I checked whether we could get food before 7pm and this was confirmed. Unfortunately when we tried to order at 6:45 we were refused. In the end we were offered pizza.

Stayed at Ibis Coventry Centre for Crufts at NEC. Dog friendly hotel which is 10 minutes walk to the station. Very frequent trains to the convention Centre.
