Clean, all perfect. Only the pillow was very bad

The room was very clean. The location is not great but it is compensated by a lower price than other Ibis Budget hotels.

As for Ibis Budget it was very good stay. It is usual standard for this brand but having various experience with them I rate this hotel high. All was ok, room quite nice and clean, free parking. Maybe the location is so so - you actually need a car otherwise it is in the middle of nowhere, but if you have car then it is convenient for travel.

Good price,, basic and simple room but it's enough. The manager is gentle and the breakfast buffet is big with a lot of choice. I will come back.

Very good. Don't remember much about it as I stayed in a different Ibis hotel every night and each night was a sort night.

Correcta

Simple and good for the use if you’re staying one night. You can access Aix-en-Procence via a shuttle-bus under the bridge (approx. 100 metres away). There’s a very complicated code (not card) system to access the rooms. Frugal but decent breakfast, great for the motorway if you’re heading East from Aix-en-Provence. For a one-night stay, it’s just what you need.

Apart from the slightly strange experience of a hotel with no check-in desk, just a computer terminal, our stay could not have been better. I had booked 3 rooms for myself and some friends to attend the French GP at Le Castellet and this hotel was within a reasonable drive of that and a great place to get access to the whole Provence area. OK, the hotel is next to a motorway with not much civilisation around (as far as I could see) but neither of that spoilt our experience. The hotel was spotless, the rooms very comfortable (great air con) the staff were very helpful and friendly. I have stayed at many hotels, including many from the Accor group and Le Canet is a credit to the brand. If (when) I make a return trip to Le Castellet, I will definitely stay here again.

When arriving at the hotel the code received by email was in letters and the code to grant acces to the hotel in numbers! It was impossible to enter the parking area and the hotel itself. No one to give any info at the site... Some remarks: area poor illuminated, with heavy equipment located at the front and totally isolated... After half an hour and heading to a Formule 1 hotel near by, one attendant gave me the "password": a small door, laterally positioned, would grant me access by foot to the hotel and, once inside, the letter code received would grant me a second code, in numbers, to get inside the parking lot with the car. Where was it all explained on the reservation made? NOWHERE! Apart from all that, the hotel is said to be in Aix-En-Provence... It's located outside of the city area, near to a 'truck road' far from the city centre... The only positive side: I was so tired that I could sleep...

I booked direct through the Accord group website and used the automatic check in machine at the hotel, so as I did not have breakfast I did actually come into contact with any hotel staff during the weekend, so I cannot comment on this aspect. My room was warm and comfortable (choice of aircon or electric radiator - needed as the Mistral was blowing hard and cold!) and I had everything I needed. Although it is situated some 7kms from the city centre it is an easy drive and there are shops and restaurants on the way in, plus a good boulangerie for coffee and snacks very close.

Apart from the parking being a little small the hotel was comfortable, clean and the Air Conditioning worked. Breakfast service was very good and plenty of room to have it alfresco. Would stay here again.

This budget hotel is fine. It is clean and price is sensible. However, the manager should understand that people coming from other parts of the world do not quite understand how Ibis hotels work. We showed up for breakfast at 9:40. Now, if breakfast closes at 9:30, the manager should simply have said "sorry, breakfast closes at 9:30." That's not what he did. I speak French fluently and he was just plain unpleasant. He stared at us in a "what the heck do you want' sort of way. Then got really confrontational. Dragged me to the door to see the poster that announced that breakfast closed at 9;30. When I told him "Look, I speak French (and I wanted to add "however, it's not my language", etc., he interrupted me and with a very unpleasant, mocking tone he answered "me too". Please, dude, if you woke up on the wrong side of bed, it's not our fault. He must eventually have come to his senses because he did let us have whatever was left of breakfast. The reason why I really needed breakfast there? I"m borderline diabetic and I needed sugars, I was beginning to feel sick. I take it that some customers were probably jerks to him a few minutes previously (that is generally the case, in my experience), but why take it out on us?
