All in all disappointing! The fact that you chose to replace the formal reception area by a cluttered souvenirs boutique with just a free standing table made me feel uncomfortable. It creates an impression of disorganisation. Aix en Provence is a favourite destination for us but the Ibis hotel not anymore.

One room cancelled on line 2 1/2 weeks before our stay. At arrival the cancelled room was still booked .I explained and was told no problem ..etc. Then I was charged for that room. The room had been noted cancelled on my client out 2 weeks previously.! Also..we arrived at midnight...with my elderly parents after an 8 hour train and bus journey. I had checked in on line so that it would be quick on arrival at the hotel. It wasn't quick at all. Apparently checking in on line has no purpose whatsoever. The staff member didn't even take into consideration that it was midnight, my parents were elderly and we had obviously had a long journey. It took ages. Also....I have Silver status which means we have one free drink on arrival. Other times my husband has had a beer ..this time we were told beer wasn't included in the " free" drink. I am a regular customer of thes hotel...and unfortunately every time something is complicated and I do 't fin the staff very helpful really. Maybe they are just following strict instructions ..... Unfortunately I am now thinking of trying elsewhere.

Dear all, the stay was fine, but could have been better: not because there was the fire alarm, as this can happen being safety procedure, but because no communication/explanation was given by the hotel' staff afterwards, but worst: following the fire emergency signs a bit tired after having been woke up, I arrived close to the swimming pool. So 1/ the emergency sign to "escape" are not consistent with where you should end up to reunite after such fire alarm 2/real or false, and even more if false, some staff from the hotel should have been in the corridors to explain. But if it would be real, also, normally there should be one person ensuring that people do escape their rooms and meet at the proper place...

Perfect for our needs, Driving from Nice to Toulouse needed a place to spent the night. IBIS was just off the Expressway pulled in without a reservation. Reception clerk was so welcoming and accomdating, the late dinner was wonderful, and the room was very comfortable. Like I said perfect or my needs. recommend it highly

I really appreciated the warm welcome on arrival. There was a very pleasant vibe about the hotel. I don't know if it is family run but it seemed everyone was working together. The room was super clean and had enough space to spread out and get ready for the drive the next day. I went into the centre of Aix for dinner and left very early so I don't know about the food.

Hôtel is well located. Rooms are well sized but the plastic shower cabin is not at the level expected for an Ibis hôtel. No cleaning if you stay less than 3 days. Breakfast is good with variety.

Room was ok and nice sleep. Unfortunately I arrived late night, as previously informed, an no one was there... I wait more than 30 minutes to be attended... then no one is asking me anything... no documentation... no covid certification... really poor reception service

The hotel is clean and located in a calm area of the city, slightly decentralized. Free parking, very nice garden, restaurant and pool area make a friendly impression. Room clean and arranged with ibis standards, so no surprise if you know it. Nice and helpful hotel team. I recommend it for guest who need to reach easily the Marseilles airport.

The overall cleanliness of both the room and the rest of the facilities is not too good. We have not had the perception that we have been made the room on a daily basis. The bin has not been removed. We have not been made a bed. We have not changed our towels. We have not been replaced by water paper. it is possible that this situation is due to a misunderstanding on my part, because the rules have changed in recent years.... that this type of service is no longer on a daily basis ....., if this is so, it would be good to specify it explicitly in the room or in the establishment to avoid bad perceptions ..... the public WC are also very dirty, and without WC paper and soap..... external bins, constantly full. In a positive way, the hotel is in a perfect location, it have a lot of possibilities to improve and achieve the perfect rate to be a 10 rate establishment!!!.... I hope my experience can help you to improve...

Room condition was below average. Bathroom is disgusting and stinky, needs complete renovation. Staff made several mistakes (like programming the room key for one day instead of the overall stay). Cleaning staff forgot the cleaning cloth and a a used pillow cover in the room (staff not even apologising and claiming it is a normal human error). Pool condition is lousy (tiles falling apart). We were denied room cleaning for the first days and this was only reversed following our repeated requests. Same for keeping the pool open until 19:00 instead of 21:00 (officially disclosed).

Rooms beginning to look tired. Found some crushed chips on floor, then a long hair on bathroom wall, and finally dried pee on toilet, all in first 15 mins. Cleaned each discovery up myself because it wasn’t until I found the dried pee that I realized how bad the cleaning had been. Still a good 3-star hotel but nothing like how it used to be when it first opened. Good efforts for COVID-19 management. Breakfast buffet has variety and quality.

Room was really dirty. The air condition was black from dirt. Also the floor of the bathroom.. Friendly people and nice terrace On 3 nights they do not clean you room Poor service for 100 euros a night I prefer to pay a bit more and get clean room and cleaning every day.

Indeed in this particular period, and to protect our staff we do not clean the rooms during the stay. Have a good day

We chose this Ibis property based on both prior hotel reviews and our needs. Great and helpful staff; nice property including the pool area. The room was comfortable for a 1-2 night stay. Another attraction was the on-site parking which would be difficult inside the city itself at other locations. A pleasant an unexpected surprise was the convenience of the bus transportation system with a stop right outside this hotel driveway. Very efficient system allowing easy access to Aix restaurants and Saturday Market. Highly recommend this property for your stay in Aix-en-Provence !

The lady from the reception was unable to provide a taxi in due time. The location is not very good but there is a bus connecting to city center. The room is good so are the beds but the bath is very small.

Comme vous l’évoquez, vous avez réservé votre taxi la veille avec nous et je suis désolé que votre course soit arrivée avec une dizaine de minutes de retard le lendemain. Ma collaboratrice du matin a d’ailleurs contacté la compagnie pour bien validé que la voiture était proche. Malheureusement elle n’a rien pu faire d’autre que de vous présenter ces excuses pour ce retard que nous ne pouvons maîtriser. J’espère que nous aurons le plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau et que vous puissiez profiter pleinement de notre établissement. virginie
