I booked this hotel last minute as the weather forecast was good and I wanted a hotel with a pool and outside space to enjoy the sun and rest! After a serious illness earlier in the year the purpose of my trip was to relax in the sun and enjoy a few hours in the evening in the beautiful town of Aix en Provence . I had specifically check the hotel website which said the pool would be open April to October. On arrival we noticed the courtyard was under renovation but the pool open so that was ok. The workmen started at 8am so it was not peaceful but we were able to use the pool the next day however the pool and all outside areas were closed for the next two days . As a gesture the hotel had left a rock hard biscuit in our room by way of an apology. This is completely unacceptable and hotels should be obliged to notify guests at the time of booking if the facilities as advertised will not be available for the majority of the stay . The hotel is clean , in a good location but for me was not what I booked and paid for Very disappointing

Very nice stay, comfortable room and I enjoyed the herbal tea before going to bed. Only the pillows were too hard for my head. The meals were also excellent

The rroms were not clean enough but the front desk tried to do their best at the checking and check out and they are also very client oriented for all the questions asked to them during the stay from guidance in gastronomi to the museem etc.
