This was a very good hotel. It was pleasant from the moment we walked in. The room was clean and neat. I would have appreciated more draw space but that is the only complaint I have. The food in the restaurant was good. I had breakfast there as well as dinner. Magical town.

We were here the. Second week in September. The prior week had been quite cool and the AC was turned off and heat turned on. Our week was hot, the average temperature in our room was around 80 degrees. We were here three hot nights and they either refused or were unable to restore the AC. Not a good experience. That said the hotel was very nice, a good location. Very clean rooms. Good buffet breakfast. Minor issues, only one unused electrical outlet, no USB ports. The water temperature in the shower constantly changed. Could be at least four stars if they get the HVAC figured out.

Good hotel, well situated for the old town

The good: Perfectly situated for the old town. Comfortable room and bed. Large private terrace with sun beds overlooking the pool. Breakfast service was excellent with lots of choice, and aided by the young American maitre’d who understands customer service. The not so good: The waiters at breakfast were haphazard and what and when you got it was quite random. There weren’t any convenient electric sockets in the room for charging phones, etc. The shower is an attachment to the bath taps so fiddly to get the temperature right each time you use it. There was no hot water on the final evening/morning. When it came to check out the invoice bore no resemblance to what we’d booked. When the booking details were showed to the manager at the front desk he argued that we’d only booked breakfast for one (even though it was an inclusive special room offer) but when I told him that was ludicrous he managed to print a new invoice that matched exactly what we’d originally booked. I really don’t expect to be scammed by an international hotel chain! Summary: Lovely hotel, great location. Generally good and friendly service, but disappointed by the attitude of management at check out which puts me off using Accor hotels in general.
