Too many things went wrong for a 4-night stayover

- small bath, no shower - dance party in the lobby/bar during one night, noise till after midnight - each night noise on floor above room 122, seemed like floor above me (on 2nd etage) was being cleaned with a machine - poor meeting facilities, airco in meeting room not functioning, coffee machine in meeting room was broken - somebody came along and checked it, nothing happened afterwards, machine stayed broken - poor snacks during breaks, not worth 4-star hotel - insufficient toilets on ground floor, compared to number of meeting rooms and possible number of guests

1) 1st room cold 2) 1 Occitane dispenser doesn’t work (pre shampoo) 3) missing mini dispenser. I don’t like standard big dispenser 4) nespresso coffee machines at meeting rooms out of order 5) waiter waitress without uniform (wearing casual clothes?) 6) breakfast too long: 20 minutes waiting the tea/coffee 7) umbrellas not available at receptions

Very good standing and service contrasting with some surprising imperfections like problem with a switch to turn on light of the room, a plug not fixed correctly to wall, strange marks on the carpet, the shower pommel separate from the pipe (last was fixed during the stay).

The meeting room was very good as were the associated facilities. However, my room (3rd floor overlooking the front of the hotel) was noisy at night - it suffered from both street noise, and noise from a band in the bar area. I was very pleased to see that the hotel had dispensers for shower gel, shampoo etc rather than the normal small plastic bottles. The hotel ensured the meeting had glass bottles of water and mugs. However, the use of a capsule coffee machine was rather wasteful on plastic.

Fine. Bedroom a bit too small but comfy bed. A bit of a leak whenever I took a shower. I appreciated the delicatessen put on my bed every day.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite near the centre of town. The breakfast was quite extensive and the food was good. The rooms were quite nice, very clean, and comfortable. Would visit again.

Good service, Warm welcome. Location is excellent for access to the centre of Aix. Enjoyed the restaurant. Temperature when we were staying at the hotel was more like a summer experience than a fall one. Hotel staff told us when we complained about the heat in our room, that the A/C had been turned off for the season; bad mistake. Room was well equipped but small by M Gallery standards. Worst feature which must be addressed was the vey poor , in fact often non-existent Wi-Fi service, a real impediment in this day and age.

I have stayed at Sofitel in California, Ny, Lyon Strasbourg and Dijon, This one was just okay. The location was good. the shower was beyond. awful There was no concierge and the front desk was not that familiar about restaurants or very basic tourist things. He actually suggested we go to the tourist bureau. We luckily had done out own research. i would go back to any of the other ones we have stayed at before but not this one.

The hotel was good I was deeply disappointed since the hotel staff didn’t do anything extra. I was expecting something more since I wrote a email and said again at the reception desk that it was my wife 40th birthday.
