We enjoyed our stay at Mercure Aix , travelling with Leger Coach Tours. Our room was clean and comfortable and their was a comfortable sitting area downstairs, but we found the evening meals very disappointing, no choice of menu and very little imagination applied. When in France I would expect some french influence in the meals, I really don't want Fish and Chips!9

The housekeeping was a bit haphazard although the bed was made on one night the sheet had not been straightened or tucked in and glasses we had used had not been washed or replaced. The hospitality tray was not consistently stocked.

I enjoyed my stay, very comfortable bed and great shower, my two essentials. Bedrooms, bar area and restaurant have all been updated very nicely.. I'm sure the corridor carpet will be updated soon. All in all, a great stay. There's a lovely boulanger just a 4 min walk up the road (beside the bus stop) and all the food there is delicious, I ate breakfast and salads from there. A pharmacy just a little bit further, very handy.

​We had a highly comfortable stay at this Hotel. The location is wonderfully peaceful, offering a quiet escape away from the crowds. We really enjoyed the restaurant—the ambience is lovely, and they offer a fantastic variety of vegetarian options. The breakfast selection was also excellent with plenty of choices. ​Kudos to the entire hotel staff for making our stay so memorable. Having read a number of negative reviews I was a bit concerned that I had booked the wrong hotel. My concerns were totally unfounded, I'm not sure where the individuals were staying who criticised so many elements. From arriving to departure 3 days later, the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed, the public areas were equally spacious and welcoming. The pool was clean and well maintained. The restaurant and bar also very good. I am happy to recommend and happily revisit.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Great to have a pool. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast with great choice of food. Restaurant food was generally good but one night we had a set meal for our party of 24 which was poor. Main course was cold and tasteless and the desert was dry with gritty shortbread. The creme anglaise arrived approx 15 mins after tart was served. Such a shame as otherwise this was a pleasant stay.

The room was well-appointed on the whole, but I did find the air-con difficult to get right and the hospitality tray was occasionally not fully replenished. The staff were always very obliging and polite, and worked so hard in both the dining room and the bar. The dinner menu did not change while we were there and did not have many options, and unfortunately we were served one set dinner that was inedible - the fish was only part-cooked but apart from that it was a very enjoyable stay.

I stayed with the Riviera UK travel company. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, my room spacious and comfortable ( though rather dark and cold - 151). Food was excellent generally. We were disappointed with one evening meal ( undercooked fish was inedible) if it hadn’t been for that I would have given a higher rating.
