It was freezing cold in Saint-Etienne. The heating was not functioning properly in the first room we were allocated. We were changed to another room, just as cold as the previous one! It soon became obvious that the whole system was deficient, everywhere in the hotel. The following morning, every one who stayed that night officially complained at the reception desk. Apparently the technician who was called the previous evening to repair the problem was not available!!!! This is NOT acceptable! Everyone that night slept with their coat on. We certainly expect compensation for this disastrous experience

The stay did not meet basic comfort standards. Overall experience below expectations due to inadequate room conditions, lack of thermal comfort, and excessive noise levels, which significantly affected rest and comfort.
