Pros: - Excellent location which is close to the Faculty of Humanities of the ELTE University and the Karoli Gaspar University, the Ervin Szabó Library, etc. where I visited. - Interior design of the room and shared spaces is modern. - Metro station Kálvin Tér (M4) is in 100 m distance, which means you can reach the Budapest-Keleti in few minutes without changing a Metro line. - Affordable and modest price. - Good breakfast with healthy food choices. - A storage room is available for your suitcases before check-in and after check-out. Cons: - The bathroom was too small and especially the space for the toilet bowl was extremely narrow. - I had to print out 10 pages. It was really urgent and important for me. I asked from a receptionist if she could print out 10 pages. But a receptionist said me that, it is not possible to do that. I stay in hotels when I travel for work or business. I ask from hotel staffs if they can print out some pages. They do it without any problem. It was for me for the first time to get an answer that they can't print out pages. For travelers travelling for work or business it's difficult to take a printer with :)) - The toilet bowl was clean, but downside of the toilet bowl lid was yellow or brown. - Not enough space and shelves for toiletries and towels (but it's Ok..).

Good location - Can be better

The hotel has a great location. Additional service - breakfast: can have more tastier food with some alternative milk options too (oat, soy, almond,...). Rooms are good with comfortable beds. What would be appreciated for the money spent is also to at least have slippers, because that is not something you bring traveling. What particularly bothered me is hotel staff, no smile and almost annoyed faces. Honest welcoming attitude of employees means a lot to a new arriving guest.

Excellent hotel

Well located hotel - couple of minutes to the river and we used that to help get around - linking pest to buda so was about a 15 minutes walk to castle, fisherman’s bastion . Also about 10 minutes to gellert hill Booked a free walking tour and we met a minute round the corner 5 minutes from the Hungarian national museum and about 10 from synagogue Near the tram lines Different eating places around for coffee/ lunch or dinner Breakfast had good variety - fruits, cereals, pancake maker with choices of sauces, mini croissants, cheese and meet selection, eggs, sausages etc. There was a variety of options. Staff were welcoming and friendly. key card system for access to lift or stairs which got a bit of getting used to but was a good safety feature as it is a very central hotel.
