accessing this hotel is not so straight forward as you need to enter via the restricted zone, however, a quick call to the hotel on arrival and the staff were all too willing to meet us at the entry point, and guide us down (we were driving a car). Whilst staying, the staff were exceptional in providing us with touring options (we'd never been to this city before), including the how to get to and from the sites and attractions using local transport. Super-efficient and exceptionally willing is all that needs to be said to describe the services afforded to us during our stay.

initially very difficult to find for the parking. Once arrived, first our room was not made up so we had to ask for another one; then the second day the room was not made up. However, we sensed that the cause was that the chamber maids were overworked and understaffed, and tired out. Felt they were unfairly treated. Nevertheless, overall, it was a nice room and breakfast was good, and the parking on site was convenient

We were stopping off on the drive south from St- Malo. Supposed to be visiting Les Machines de l'Île but unfortunately they closed due to the heat. We were a bit disappointed but actually was bit of a blessing and we all had a nice time exploring the city, shops and a very nice meal (over the road from hotel at L'Entrecôte but loads of other options near by). Hotel was very well placed, nice, friendly staff, clean, aircon (phew), good parking even if a little daunting prospect driving through the semi pedestrianised areas but if you follow the instructions they give you it’s actually fine. All said we enjoyed the stay in the eclectic city of Nantes and would return. Hotel is great.

I recommend this hotel, especially if you are visiting without a car. The location is just perfect. The room is a bit dated, but clean. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the staff is really friendly. There are only two concerns: 1) Parking access is really frustrating: it is hard to reach the barrier area itself. To get there, you only have two options: drive in the bicycle lanes or in the bus lanes. Both options are illegal and may result in fines. Leaving the hotel is especially frustrating: based on the hotel's recommendations, I had to drive in the bicycle lanes on Cours des 50 Otages. 2) The breakfast area is very small; during one of the days, it was completely overcrowded.

I received excellent instructions with information to drive to the hotel parking, without which it would have been impossible. To find such a central hotel with its own parking was perfect. The hotel is perfectly located to see all of the sites in Nantes, the staff are super helpful and friendly and the breakfast is brilliant. We had a great stay.

Room was decent, bed was comfortable. A little confusing getting to the car park but the receptionist was very helpful in assisting here. The food at dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the waiter was very helpful.

A little tricky to get to being within the pedestrian area but absolutely worth it when you get here. A cool, elegant period hotel within walking distance of everything.
