I booked the Ibis Styles Ouistreham as we had stayed before and one of the highlights was the restaurant. On arrival I was told that the chef had left and no meals were available all week. This had happened days before my arrival and I could have been iinformed by Accor so that I could have made arrangements to stay at an altenative hotel. Very poor overall customer service. Despite that, the hotel itself is clean, well maintained and staff helpful.

Our chef did indeed retire on July 1st, and during this transition period, we were unable to offer full meal service. However, the restaurant did not completely close. Since July 17th, we have been offering a food bar menu with various dishes, which will soon be featured on our website. We are pleased to know that you found the hotel clean, well-maintained, and that our staff was helpful. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience during your next visit. Good location. Perfect for overnight stop before morning ferry. Nice breakfast. Secure parking limited because space reserved for Gendarme.
