Large room. Carpets a bit thin and grubby. Bed was a twin pushed together with one comfortable side and one (mine) hollowed out and collapsed. Found the aircon impossible to fathom and as a consequence put up with warm conditions as we were only staying two days. Bathroom was adequate but had a fatal flaw in that the shower over the bath had not been installed properly and leaked all over the floor creating a slippery and dangerous environment. Had to put towels down to soak it up and make the floor safe to walk on. Breakfast very good with excellent scrambled eggs, fresh bread and rolls and even oat milk for the (large) coffees. They even had Darjeeling tea for my wife! At the end of the day - a fair budget hotel (albeit purporting to be 4 stars) in a good/edgy location with very good transport (bus and U bahn) links up to Tempelhof, Platz der Luftbrucke and in to Berlin town.

We had a pleasant stay but the matress was far too hard and 3 duves did not help. I had to get an airmatress myself to put on top. If I return it will only be if you in the future will have ekstra topmatresses for people like me with health issues. Another thing is that I dont understand why anyone Can just walk in and take the elevator up? All in all thanks for a pleasant stay!

Reception ( and whole of ground floor ) smelt of sulphur and eggs, potentially the smell was from drains due to heavy rainfall - as later in the stay when the rain stopped the smell went away. The hotel seemed pretty overpriced considering the surrounding area, it's facilities and decor. Our bathroom had mould and was a little dirty. The water supplied in the room was chargeable ( 4.50 euros ), which seemed really stupid given theres a lidl 40meters away. Regardless, the staff where very pleasant and helpful during all interactions.
