Check in was quick and efficient with very pleasant staff. The room was well presented and clean and 2 small maintenance issues reported to reception staff next morning on route to breakfast were resolved on our return to hotel just after lunch time. Speaking of breakfast, it was well presented with plenty of choice for all tastes, the fresh bread was particularly delicious. The waiting staff in breakfast area were super efficient at clearing the tables and re setting them so that there was no problem finding a free table even at peak period, the staff were also helpful with any queries and had a friendly and courteous manner at all times.The garage parking, below the hotel, was perfect as it allowed us to leave the car safely during our 4 day stay and use the very good public transport to get around. We will certainly be staying here again on our next trip to Bordeaux.

The hotel is definitely more for business purposes then a nice stay. The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable but the room was very dingy with awful lighting. The location of the hotel was the best thing, the Chartrons area was great. The dinner in the restaurant was severely disappointing with a "steak" that was definitely a piece of meat meant for braising. Physically couldn't chew it, it was inedible.

The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. It wasn’t really possible to open the windows as they were both located directly behind the edges of heavy curtains, so we had no choice but to use the air conditioning, even though it wasn’t particularly warm at night, and it didn’t work well so the room was stuffy. We also found the bath very narrow so it was awkward to stand in it to have a shower. One of the sockets was not working ( we reported this to reception staff). It was convenient to be able to park in the hotel car park and the location was good, within easy walking distance of shops/cafés/restaurants, but including the parking cost, the total cost of €135 (which included an All Accor discount) seemed excessive for the quality of the stay.

From check-in to check-out really good service. I highly appreciate the staff initiative at reception to arrange packed breakfast bag for my 5am checkout. Positive: very nice staff, Hôtel is nice. Breakfast was great. Check-in was quick and easy and our room was ready early. Negative: Restaurant is awful. Needs someone to sit back and watch how it is operated. Too many things wrong to list. Location doesn’t have a ton of food options or sites to see. Have to travel. The building is too hot in bedrooms and hallways.

The hotel staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay overall. Only reason for not giving 10/10 was that our a/c couldn’t cool our room to a comfortable temperature. We understand that Bordeaux was experiencing exceptionally warm temperatures, so demand on the hotel’s a/c system would have been very high.
