excellent for location. next to the harbour, trams,train stations and ferries. the rooms are basic as in bed table and a fridge, ironing board and a small wardrobe. it's not big enough if you are stopping for a while. you can ask if they can put you in a bigger room. there is a bar and seating area in and outside. there's a restaurant. Peter was excellent on the reception he was kind to my parents Norman and Pauline every day he would make them feel welcomed by just talking to them. would recommend going as its beautiful in Sydney the sites the food the trips .plenty of restaurants near by. would recommend going to the little snail 🐌 restaurant excellent next door.

A great location wasted. Ok for a short stay of maybe 2/3 nights but not for longer. The housekeeping is on request up to the 3rd day,we requested it once. The rest of our stay (6days) they didn’t turn up for 3 so i spoke to reception,we then got housekeeper 2 days in a row until they stopped again. There is a coffee bar which serves non alcoholic drinks until 10am, The last morning we stood there at 9-55 and didn’t get any service, The same bar serves alcohol from 4-30pm, It could be a great little bar with a nice outdoor area and be a focal point for people to meet up but it is neglected and very uncomfortable to sit it,comfortably seating would improve this. It seems to be a wasted opportunity. My overall view would be, don’t consider this for more than two nights.

Such a nice stay at Ibis Darling Harbour , stayed there for 5days and felt like at home. So sad I didn’t grab the name of the lovely male receptionist who goes above and beyond while doing his job. The best service!
