Rooms are old and in need of maintenance and upgrades. Beds were very comfortable though and location is fantastic

My son was getting a Tattoo done in Sydney for 3 days. Overall a great stay and very convenient location with only two issues to prevent me giving a higher rating. When I booked the hotel the All website showed that Ibis customers could use the Novotel Pool and Gym and I had hoped to do that but the rules have changed, I had booked a long way in advance. I checked the website and it is not mentioned anymore so just a change of rule that caught me out. We had dinner in the hotel and you have to order at the bar, the lady at the bar said that my ALL Accor+ Explorer account is not valid for the dining discount. I have not idea what she looked at on my phone to determine that as it says quite clearly on the first page that my benefits include dining. I had no issues with Breakfast and as an Accor Vacation Club member with 10,000 points I also confirmed with the Vacation Club concierge team that my ALL membership I have is valid for dining. The bar staff need some training in what a valid ALL membership is.
