*The beds wanted to flip over every time one of us sat on them. *The blackout curtain were torn from the rail letting in light and reducing privacy. *The blackout curtain would either be up or down no in between. A lot of the time they wouldn't stay up and just fall down. *The bathroom was dated and paint was peeling from the door. *The air conditioner was either hot or freezing with no in between. *The was no sound reduction so you heard people and doors slamming all night. Whilst you could hear people on the above floor as well. *The front of house staff looked annoyed and were short and curt when they did speak with you. A lot of the times they would ignore you while having a conversation between themselves and would barely acknowledge you.

Worst hotel experience I can remember. The room was dated and poorly maintained, and the shower was so cramped that I kept hitting my elbow. To make matters worse, water leaked into the bathroom every time I took a shower. Check-in took nearly 30 minutes despite paying for an additional night to secure early check-in. Housekeeping was only provided upon request. I was also told an invoice would be emailed to me, but I had to follow up by phone several days after checkout to obtain it. Breakfast options were very limited, and even the pancake machine was out of service. Overall, the experience fell well below expectations, and I would not stay there again.

The staff are great but the rooms really need some investment. Very run down and tired. Walls are thin and can hear everything in the corridors. The location is well connected into the CBD. Work being done in front of the hotel.

I stayed for one week to attend a scientific event in Sydney while working remotely with international teams. I specifically booked a room that included "City Skyline" in its description hoping to have a quiet stay and a nice view during my working hours because I was expecting to spend time in my room for online meetings, document reviews and presentations. My expectations were not met, I was given a room on the 5th floor (the highest they offered me from a 10 story building) facing towards a building under construction. I understand it depends on the availability of the rooms but I would have appreciated if they tried a little bit harder to meet my expectations by switching my room at some point during that week (anytime would have worked for me). For me it was important but I felt ignored and that I was asking "too much" even though I paid what it said online for a room like that. One day I came back to my room and I noticed that water was leaking out from the back side of the toilet. Did not become a problem and I was busy enough to ask them to do something, but I wondered about the state of the rooms. The information about the breakfast was also confusing. I asked about the procedures for breakfast and I was told that I could just come in. But a couple of days I was stopped and brought back to the front to confirm my room number. I would have appreciated to at least know this could happen, I don't like to have mixed information. In general, most employees were kind and flexible, just one person was not flexible and gave me wrong information when I checked-in the first night. The main positive point of this hotel is its location.

This has been the most disappointing and unsatisfactory hotel experience I have ever had. The rooms were dirty, poorly maintained, and disorganised. The heating and cooling system was faulty and non-functional, making the room very uncomfortable. Despite raising the issue with reception, no meaningful assistance was provided, apart from being offered an extra blanket. In addition, the bathroom exhaust fan was extremely noisy, sounding like a mechanical drilling machine. Overall, this stay was a complete waste of money. The quality of the accommodation and service did not reflect the amount paid, and I received no value for money.

The room was incredibly small for the price. The bathroom old and dated and tiny. The shower cubicle so small you couldn’t even bend over to wash your feet which definitely needed doing after walking on the carpet that hadn’t been deep cleaned in some time.
