Mercure staff was excellent - our flight was delayed by almost two hours and we arrived at 3:30 am. The attendant was helpful and sympathetic. The room was good - not too small (or too big). We slept well. The only problem was difficulty finding the hotel - few wayfaring signs in the airport and the 'passport' area was very confusing. Not the hotel's fault but we'd suggest management work with the airport to make navigation easier.

We had an overnight layover at Schiphol and found this hotel extremely convenient for spending the night comfortably without having to leave the terminal. It was very clean, shower worked great and the bed was very comfortable. The best part was not losing any time with leaving the terminal and having to go through security in the morning. I highly recommend it for this situation.

It was a perfect resting spot for the long layover. Arriving in Amsterdam at 12:30 AM catching the next flight at 10:45 AM. Was quickly able to clear passport control and get a good nights rest for the next day

Friendly staff, the room was clean ans all i asked for. BUT no functional internet was big issue. Also the Airport wifi was out of reach/range inside the room which made it that there was zero internet availability.

The young lady at the reception was very rude and made my stay very unpleasant. I will never return to this hotel again. When I told her that I would report her behavior, she covered her name tag and refused to provide her name. Another member of the hotel cleaning staff referred to her as "Sui." I was a frequent visitor to this hotel, so I knew many of the other staff members, who were always polite, friendly, and helpful with any inquiries. However, the young lady named "Sui" was absolutely the worst hotel employee I have ever met. She caused a great deal of stress during my stay, which is why I will never recommend this hotel to others.

We booked the hotel room at the day rate – we had a 10 hour layover and needed a place to shower, change clothes, and take a nap between flights. There was very little signage in the airport terminal about the hotel location. We asked several airport personnel to ensure we were going in the right direction. Once we found the hotel, the check-in was fast. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The hotel is great for flight connections in Schipol. The reception lady was very friendly and kindly allowed us to check in a bit earlier as my husband has mobility issues. The room is comfortable and the bathroom was great. Just what we needed for an early flight next morning. We.did not have to go through security just stayed airside.

I am working on legal action against the hotel which is a risk to female travellers. A key was given to another guest who used it to access my room while I was undressing.

Beds were comfortable, though you had to stay exactly in the middle of the small twin or tilt off the side or down the middle of the bed (beds were basically two twins pushed together). Room was clean, bedding was good, pillows were good. The hair dryer only blew cold air (the only setting that worked) and it would be expected to have both shampoo and conditioner for hair, not just shampoo at this price for a hotel room. Nice to have excellent coffee available at the front desk.
