Very strong smell of smoking on the 4th floor. Wind tunnel effect as well. Carpets were very worn.

We came to Compiègne for a long weekend and selected the Hotel Mercure Compiègne Sud for our stay. We had a great time during our stay at the hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean.

Friendly staff, seemed a bit overwhelmed on first night with a coach party in for dinner food generally ok much as I would expect from a mercury or novotel I think there could’ve been a more comfortable chair or chairs in room

There was pubic hair which blocked the bath tub, not enough shower gel and the floor in the entrance toilets was completely dirty and sticky like hell. Moreover the toilet was loosing water as it needs calk treatment. So overall cleaning could be improved. Should get a reward fo the remark on the running water as I guess it is not the only toilet loosing water which means hotel is loosing water and money. Breakfast was good thou
