Stayed just one night , cheap for the night, room was basic, bathroom was similar size to an Airplane bathroom ! Bed wasn’t comfortable for me, woke up with really bad back ache

I stay with the Accor group frequently, so I was shocked to see the state of our room when we arrived. I could only compare it to a homeless hostel and I would imagine that being nicer. Dark. Cramped. The single curtain was creased and hanging off half the hangers. Dirty stained old carpet. Tiny nasty bathroom. Paint coming off the ceilings. The twin beds resembled camp beds with no cover on the main bed and a flimsy topper on the top. I was horrified. At first I asked the staff If I could swap rooms but then realised that they were probably not going to be any better. When I asked for a refund there were no questions asked and I was promptly refunded. Staff seemed nice enough. I feel sorry for them having to work in such a place. For £3 more. I booked the Leonardo. It's like night and day in comparison.

Check-in and check-out experience was nice and simple, hotel was in an ideal location, being close to many stores for shopping, venues for events and such, while also being just far enough from the night-life locations to ensure a quiet nights rest. Room was generally fine, though the barhroom was quite cramped, with barely enough space to open the shower door without having to either squeeze in next to the toilet, or open the door into the hotel room itself.
