One of the best Ibis I have stayed at (Accor Silver and usually avoid Ibis brand if possible). Very good location and very friendly staff (they were friendly to us but also to the other guests we saw, including one older guest who had broken down outside Besancon en route to Italy and they were helping them liaise with the garage on the works as they did not speak French). Seen reviews mentioning the parking courtyard entrance but we had no issues with the mirrors folded in and a Range Rover also entered at the same time as us without issues. It is 2.2 meters wide. Overall, highly recommended.

We will stay here each time we'll pass through Besançon. Great value for the money, spotlessly clean rooms (and showers), comfortable beds, central location (hotel has a secure parking lot on it's premises). We had a wonderful stay. Excellent and friendly staff.
