Positive points first: the team is excellent — very friendly, welcoming, and genuinely professional. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the breakfast is good with no major complaints. However, the hotel itself is completely outdated. The furniture is old, the overall look and feel clearly need renovation. The bed is small and not so comfortable, which is disappointing for a Mercure property. What surprised me the most was the absence of a safe in the room — something that should be a basic standard in an international hotel chain. Overall, the staff does their best and delivers good service, but the physical condition of the hotel and room facilities do not meet expectations. Without a serious renovation, I would not choose to stay here again.
