First of all, may I complement Julian in Reception and Maxime in the restaurant and between the pair of them had to address several issues of the companys making. Generally the hotel was very clean, rooms were very cosy and well equiped. First issue was on my arrival the light did not work in the bathroom, Julian said there was no maintenance person working on Sunday and it would be fixed on Monday. I was offered an alternative room but declined as I had a view over the railway. The light was not fixed on Monday and Julian made sure that it was fixed on Tuesday. Second issue was with the restaurant as I had booked a table in advance for Tuesday night only to be informed when I went to dinner that it was closed, as was the bar as a private party of 170 people were being entertained. Once again Julian was involved with the Maxime and a solution was found so that I could eat my meal and drink my beer on the Terrace. Many thanks!!! Third issue was the restaurant again on Thursday night, made the reservation at 13h00 for 20h00, received confirmation around 18h00 and sat down to eat at 19h45 after my reservation was checked off. Whilst I was eating my food I received another message from the restaurant telling me my booking had been cancelled. I spoke to Said and he said I don't understand what has happened and Julian suggested it was a software glitch. Fourth issue was once again the restaurant at breakfast on Friday morning where they had not been informed that I had paid for it the prvious night. The restaurant made no issue of it and Julian said I wasn't on the list as I had not paid for the breakfast when I booked the room. I must say that the quality of the food and service was first class in the restaurant as I had eaten there on four occasions. However, the hot cooked breakfast was invariably cold at 06h40 on each day and on one day the bacon didn't arrive at 06h40 and on another day there was no sausages whilst I was there. When you pay a very high price of €21 in comparison to other hotels you expect the food to be hot and most other hotels have their hot food on hot plates.
