Facility was very comfortable and food and beverage service were very good. The location was a bit outside the city center area, but we found park areas to visit and retail services very close by plus a very short walk to the nearest train station to the city center.

What I liked about the Hotel was the welcoming i received, the staff always present for me, helping and being super kind. I loved the breakfast as well as the service. The Hotel is well located especially for business since it is located 1 stop from RAI but it is possible to reach the city center easily.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights before the start of a tour and 1 night once tour started. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable, staff at front desk, restaurant and bar were friendly and helpful. Hotel a short walk from metro so very easy to get everywhere in Amsterdam.

My room was nice, confortable and clean. The restaurant serves tasty food (very nice Gava wine!) and employees were all polite and friendly. I would have given 10 out of 10 but in my review I needed to take into account of something which happened when we left the hotel. We were there for a work event and our commercial literature got stuck at custom and it was set to arrive when we were already at home. My collegue and I asked whether it was possible to accept the parcel, we would have then arranged the collection at the hotel for shipping to Germany. I was there when my collegue gave her contacts to Ulysses at the reception. I saw Ulysses taking duly note of everything however something must have been gone wrong in the internal communication with other employees because DHL tried to deliver two times and the parcel was refused two times. Now the parcel is going back to the UK where it shouldn't be gone. Honestly we would have expected better consideration of our request from a nice and reputable hotel as Mercure.

The hotel is great, good service, clean rooms, great breakfast selection. The ventilation in the hotel was very good (my room was a bit chilly) Location is outside the city center but closeness to RAI conference center (a 15min walk) is perfect and the area i a calm one =good sleep. Also the hotel bar is worth a visit great drinks and very service minded bartenders.

We stayed at the Mercure City hotel for 4 nights over the marathon weekend as our daughter was running the race. It proved to be an excellent choice as it was so accessible to the city centre (20 minutes on the metro) and to the stadium and the route of the race. The metro line was a mere 10 minute walk from the hotel and also allowed easy transit to the airport. The room was comfortable and met all our needs. The bar and restaurant area was pleasant. The buffet breakfast was extensive and plentiful. All in all, a great stay.

The hotel is located at the outskirts of Amsterdam but nearby the RAI convention centre where conferences and expos happen. Definitely not suitable for tourists. The Classic Double room seemed smaller. Dental Kit was provided only upon request.
