I think the rooms are in need of refurbishment. I found the furniture to be a bit out dated. The bed was quite comfy. Loved the blackout curtains as I'm a sensitive sleeper. Overall it was comfortable and the staff were great. Breakfast had a nice range of western food. Check in and check out were super quick. Didn't use the pool, gym or tennis court so no comment on those but I did walk into the gym. It seemed small but was clean and well equipped.

I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Darling Harbour. As an Accor Diamond member, I really appreciated the valet parking and the room upgrade to a suite category, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
A special thank you to Andrew for his warm hospitality, attentive service and for looking after me so well throughout my stay. The breakfast was also very good, with a great selection to start the day.
Overall, a fantastic experience with excellent staff recognition, comfortable accommodation and great service. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed Thursday to Saturday. I attempted to have some lunch at the restaurant on Thursday but was told only a small seating area was available for lunch but it was totally full, not busy, full of people seemingly sitting there on laptops or phones having a drink. This despite the actual restaurant being empty. Was disappointing but what can you do. The hotel room (815) had a weird crooked cupboard foor and the EMPTY (not minibar?) fridge was pulled out slightly on the sliding door tracks not allowing the sliding door to shut properly. The toilet is jammed up against the wall (heaven knows how large people even fit) and there's some weird plastic hook stuck onto the wall which is very off putting. The shower taps are the most annoying thing in the whole room with the user needing at least a science degree or one of Alan Turing's enigma machines to be able to decipher how to set the water temperature to a comfortable level. What a total catastrophe and dont get me started on the ridiculous placement of the body wash/shampoo/conditioner combo that is locked into one of those holders screwed to the wall above the vanity basin. No way of accessing the soap without covering the vanity top in water. Ive stayed in many hotels around the country and have always favoured Accor group hotels but won't be revisiting or reccomending Novotel Darling Harbour.....having said all of this, the bed was comfy and my check-in experience was lovely (sorry, cant remember the bloke's name) after I waited for a rude guest that pushed in front of me to be served...but he really was a great host.

We had a great stay. Room was comfortable. The pool has been recently renovated and it’s a lovely space with the pool feeling clean and fresh. The ternary food was fantastic and convenient. Location was great, a quick walk downstairs to the tram line to get us everywhere! The only negative was the bathroom had a slight odour and was a bit dirtier than expected based on the room and hotel as a whole. Great experience overall!

When we arrived our room was not ready. We had flown from Perth. Our room was still not ready at 6.30pm. after asking for an update we were given another room. The room was not what we expected. The tv would not connect to our phones. The shower in the bath was not great for me. But the beds were very comfortable and our stay was enjoyable.

Negatives: you do bot need to charge extra for early check in - if the rooms available, thats a nice complimentary service to offer. The rooms are dated, lacking power outlets, bathrooms in urgent need of updating, dirty.
In summary this was a 3 star hotel at 5 star prices - purely paying for location but lacking finer touches.
