This normally a stop off point on a longer journey, this time we stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the area. We appreciated the pool. The rooms are OK but a heated towel rail would be useful. The restaurant seemed quite expensive and over our 4 nights the menu never changed - even the specials were the same. Breakfasts were good, except for the coffee from machines. Access to a water cooler would have been good.

Hotel offered what we needed. Reservation made 3 hours before arrival. Hotel reception was well organised. Room was good. Dinner and its service were OK, but not at the level of good. Too process orented, not customer friendly. Charing of EV took some effort and turned out to be OK in the end. Chargers are slow. Reception staff did not know anything about EV charging

The room was 264 euros for 1 night (2 adults and a child), including breakfast, in a hotel in a peripheral area of a small town (near the highway). Although we reserved the room for 3 people, the cushions, towels, and drinking glasses were provided for two people only. In addition, the room was very small; on one side there was approximately 40 cm between the bed and the wall, and on that same wall were double doors to the bathroom that were each also approx. 40 cm wide, so you had to position yourself well to even get into the bathroom (open door 1, then position yourself between the wall and the bed, then open door 2 and enter). The ceiling in the bathroom (when showering in the bathtub) was low for tall people, while getting out of the bathtub was a high step even for tall people. There was no bar to grab while the bathtub was slippery. The usb entries did not work, and there were few power outlets close to the beds (only the one that had 40 cms between the bed and wall had a power outlet on that side). The minibar was empty; not even a bottle of water was provided (neither for free nor for payment). There was an option to make tea with tap water, but there were only glasses clearly not meant to carry tea but rather water or drinks that weren´t there. Room decoration feels dated. When we first entered, the young lady at reception was a bit snappy. For such a high price, one would expect more. We understand that hotel chains can ask for these high prices (especially when other hotels in the area, such as the IBIS hotel next door, are owned by the same chain), but it would still be ethical for management to consider whether they provide sufficient value for money. It was not the first time we stayed here, but it was considerably more expensive and a worse experience this time.

Handy location close to the autoroute and only 10 minutes drive to city centre. Let down by breakfast experience - empty dishes not promptly refilled: scrambled egg, bacon, bread. Evidently not enough staff on duty to keep an eye on the situation and take the necessary action.

People travel with pets and you allow pets, however for someone who doesn’t the hotel smells of wet dog, yes it’s clean but there is an odour, we had to request a new room. Breakfast was plenty and the restaurant was cleaned quickly to free up tables overall convenient

I have stayed at the Novotel Beaune three times and it is always my favourite stop between Belgium and south of France. It is conveniently located nearby the highway and the city of Beaune. The staff is always friendly and the food offered is very good.

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay on the way to the south of France. I had a lovely dinner, comfortable nights rest in a clean and well appointed room, and a super breakfast. I was able to park my car and long trailer in the guarded car park next to the hotel without any problems. Comparatively high cost compared to others but well worth it.

When we arrived we saw that a lot of dogs were also guest in this hotel. One dog peed quite an against a chair. No reaction from anyone in the neighborhood . I attended discreet the personal. But for me it was bad start of stay in the hotel. In the evening we ordered a dinner. The food was not bad but cold and we had a waiting time of 1,5 hour before my dish arrived. The restaurant was chaotic organized. These situations don't make it likely that we book again this hotel.
